  1. I agree. This is almost as exciting as the LA mod! it's just so awesome that you have put this much effort into something for everyone else, and I say thank you for that.   3. lol, nice. it looks better without it. and it's easier. Nice way of setting the units up on scene. I'm going to play em4 maybe a little bit later, so hopefully i'll have some more screens. Theres just so many medical calls with the new map eh? em4freak

Awesome. yea, at first I just tried shutting down the right lanes coming towards the crash scene, and i was relieved to know you only had to extricate two people. so, once I realized i would need to shut down another lane of traffic on the other side of the highway (i had originally closed one for my battalion chief, an engine, and an lapd cruiser in the back), but then i decided to cease traffic. once i did that i had all my units ready, and had the oncoming lanes of traffic turn around onto the other side of the highway. after that i had an unmarked cruiser stop and have traffic turn around quite a ways back from the accident scene, and then once i had all the vehicles removed and the patients cared for, i just drove it up to the scene and left one lane closed for..."investigation" . Anywho, it took my 7 hours game time (i think it was around 35 minutes real time) to get the accident cleared up and what not, but it took forever. VERY fun though. I praise w00d for his work on that map. If you read this w00d I am extremely fond of the map, except I haven't yet gotten a pileup on the highway, but I hope it will be soon Thanks for all the great fun! em4freak P.S. Come on people post some screens. I always look forward to seeing everyones work. I have loved the recent screens and very much hope to see more!

  7. There is no realism in most of the lights hes adding. No dept. that I know of in Ontario at least uses running board lights on their SUV's, and I know that LAFD definitely doesn't, and then he is adding so many lights to make it look like they rotate, that from high up it looks like there not even moving. That is why I am suggesting to simply cut back on the lights. Also don't even bother telling me to read other posts. I am sticking with my opinion, and there's nothing else to it. em4freak
  8. Did you not read my post... IF YOUR NOT USING A VEHICLE (like the LASD hummer)...DONT ADD LIGHTS TO IT! It slows down our computers significant amounts. So just put the new lights on vehicles we use (LAPD, LAFD, EMS etc.). Also, could you remove any lights that aren't on actually LA vehicles (such as the running board lights). Thanks. em4freak
  9. Just an FYI, the more lights you have, the slower our games are, and if your adding lights to vehicles which we won't be using anyways, could you refrain from doing that? Also, on the Batallion Chief truck, and I think the Heavy Equipment truck, there are way to many lights. You can't even tell that they're moving from high up. If you could like, take some off. And the BLS ambulance lights are very unrealistic. They actually turn instead of blink. Just some critiques and sorry if I was a bit harsh. em4freak

  11. Ok, I managed to get my vehicles moving, but after about 20 minutes of playing, my game completely crashes. I was just working on an MVA (where the car goes off the bridge) and right when the crane got the car out of the water, the game crashed. I only got through 3 events too which really sucked. Is this a bug or just a one time thing? Thanks. em4freak

  14. Same here, except mine doesn't go anywhere on the north part of the map. Not to be a pain in the @$$ but when abouts do you think 1.2 will be available? I can't play freeplay anymore because of the bug where the units don't move, so i'm just sticking with the missions. Thanks. em4freak

  16. He didn't mean that in any way. He was simply trying to say that he believes there are still a lot of bugs, which there are some. Maybe not as much as he's saying, but still. I for one have noticed that my fire trucks, police units etc. have not left their stations nor where ever they just so happen to be, to go anywhere on the map. Unless it is like, within a block, which is still stretching it. Any thoughts on why this could be. Thanks in advance. em4freak

  18. I take it we have to download both maps? My game loaded, freeplay screen finished loading, then the game completely crash...any thoughts?
  19. That's fine, just work all the kinks out and we'll wait patiently. I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying we appreciate a new map being made for us all to use. It's brilliant! Thanks em4freak
  20. 1) That isn't racism 2) There obviously children if they feel compelled to call you a noob. That is a very childish thing to say, which is why i'm wondering why you felt so offended from it. Trust me, they were obviously children if they called you a noob haha.
  21. I think we should start from scratch again unless Tony is re-doing this. Doesn't it seem like a lazy way to do it? I know its a time consuming process and I shouldn't be one to talk, but I don't know, it just seems that way to me.
