This will be insane! Lookin forward guys! Keep on this amazing work:)

Let us just enjoy this beautiful mod!
-
I think that is has a very good gameplay experience!

I agree with Newfoundking. I really like the mod because of its nice and good placed fire stations, the cool 2-option light system and also the police station. In this case there has been put more effort in this mod then just reskins. They lights are also new. Its a very good submod but defently a submod in my opinion.

Also if you really have alot of questions you can feel free to contact me too:) Im not too long on this forum but i know how it works and i am on the german forum for years now. Im happy to help!

Project Harbor City - the unofficial Rework
Mindcat replied to Mindcat's topic in Modification Sub-Mods WIP (In Development)
oh okay, no problem! Thanks to itchboy i´m now really motivated to really get in the depth with this mod. Right now i re-uv map the ambulances, some of the policecars and some of the fire apparatus. After that i´ll start my first own model, a 2009 Pierce Quantum. This truck will be replacing engine 1. What else would you guys like to see? -
i ban you for talking weird

Project Harbor City - the unofficial Rework
Mindcat replied to Mindcat's topic in Modification Sub-Mods WIP (In Development)
Just doing lights may look nice but isn´t a change in functionality, so i can just leave it like it is. And yes, Corsair, your Signature is pretty obvious. But thats not the way it works. If i need your help i contact you and then you can help me. I like to keep everything in my own hands as long as possible. -
Project Harbor City - the unofficial Rework

Just wrote something stupid there and wanted it to delete it. If itchboy says that this is difficult then im going to trust him and don´t even try to do it. I focus on these things im learning right now which would be 3D-Model and uv-mapping. Thanks itchboy for clearing that up -

I think (not sure tho) that the amount of the lights would also have something to do with the scripting structure and how the script would work (maybe?) Also amount changes with the size of the actual light bar which it is used on and how detailed it should be. -

Mindcat replied to Mindcat's topic in Modification Sub-Mods WIP (In Development)
No i don´t want that:D Im more for a true improvement for the gameplay experience in the mod but as i currently don´t know much of scripting i more want to focus on 3D-Model and uv-mapping -

yeah, it is not needed really. But i want to also get into that scripting. But first i want to learn how to 3D-Model from scratch. My project there is a 2009 Pierce Quantum -

It is more a idea, just for the future. Right now i focuse on skin+uv-map+lights after that 3D-Model and then script -

So this Project is a lot more then just new lights! This is what is planned/done -New lighting -New uv-mapping for some vehicles/new detailed skins -(Later) New scripts, additions to map -(Later) New Engine 2009 Pierce Quantum 3D-Model scratch made. Working on the uv-mapping of foam 8:) -
Oh sorry thats my fault of course, sry. I just tought it sounded pretty harsh. I´m a starter too and i can kinda understand them. PaganiZonda760 seems to start mods motivated and then looses interest or messes up with credits. So the other guys don´t have a fault here - do i understand that right?
-
Basically your right but you don´t have the right to be that harsh to this modding team. Everyone started small.

Manhattan Mod 3.0.5 how to swap vehicles
Mindcat replied to spyhunter27's topic in Technical Related Support
I don´t see a reason to do that. And if you want to do that just copy the model files and then generate new prototyps for doors, wheels and the car itself. Then copy the lights and paste them. If you don´t know how that works just don´t do it cause nobody is gonna helping you -
Then the german vehicles defently miss completly every credit! That is not good at all Especially since there is the imagination made, that the vehicles are done by yourself "Authors Gandia Mod Team I hope you like them " That is the last part of your first post.
