Solved it, apparently my service pack installation was damaged. And updating it solved the crashes. Thanks anyway guys!

Nope, still crashes.

Ok, I'll give it a try. I shouldn't have any malware, but one never knows. Update: Did a scan, all it found was some old crack file, still getting the crashes.

I haven't played EM5 for a while due to lack of mods, but now I decided to give it a go anyway. But as soon as i press play (steam version) it gives me a crash error (Emergency 5 deluxe has stopped working) the same thing happens when i try to start the launcher, although i get another message (the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000001d). Click OK to close the application.) I guess this is an issue i got with the latest patch. I've reinstalled the game, reinstalled vc++ and reinstalled directx but nothing works. Anyone else have the same problem? Or even better, the solution?
