Actually, most towns in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho currently use tornado siren pagers for confirmed fires, but can only be activated by a dispatcher or the chief on hand. More rural stations, like Pine Bluffs, WY has a full time ambulance crew, but are also trained firefighters, so those assets come in handy.
