Messing around in the codec tweak tool solved the issue for me. You're a life saver! XD Not sure exactly what fixed it, but I suspect it was "Re-register base DirectShow filters" under "fixes". Other things I did include selecting everything else under "fixes" and under "thumbnails" I hit "select windows default" then applied. Hopefully this can fix the issue for someone else!

Try checking to make sure you have the following in your em4.cfg: <var name="r_colorbits" value="32" /><var name="r_tex_bits" value="32" />Those are the defaults for me. If it shows anything other than value="32" then try changing it back. I honestly wouldn't expect that to remove textures from the vehicles. But seeing as how it happened when you lowered your colors to 16 bits per pixel, it's worth a try.

Hey, could anyone make sense of this logfile for me? logfile.txt It seems as though there are files missing from my install, yet I just downloaded and verified it with steam. When I verify it it also seems to replace my logfile with someone elses, as if someone at Valve just uploaded their private copy of the game to steam's servers. Here's my DxDiag as well: DxDiag.txt

Sorry for the bump, but it is a pinned topic. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to edit the traffic vehicles to be towable without being damaged or stolen. I recall on my long read through this thread, I saw someone mention that as an alternative to shooting, extinguishing and towing. I already know how to edit dispatchable police vehicles for the most part. Just don't know how to identify what's used for the traffic. Thanks.

Sorry if the answer is really obvious, but I've spent the past hour looking for the "LA Police Upgrade Mod" mentioned in the readme and haven't found it. Could someone tell me what to search or give me a link? Would be really appreciated as these models look amazing. Plus I really want to equip my police force with the new Ford Interceptors.
