We don't carry them on the BLS because it's made as a solid firefighting engine, with basic supplies on board. ALS, US&R, and ladders carry them, because their more used for rescue/life saving. Also, not on smaller units, because of the hydraulic lines. And ALS. You got here before I did XD in city, it's carried on ALS due to the fact that a ladder is harder to get through heavier traffic, and to park close enough. US&R's are stationed around seldomly, so, unless a US&R is close, or it's life threatening, other vehicles must be equipped to do the job. Time is an enemy in injury. You are 100% correct sir! That's especially an issue on the 10, Rescue can't always get to the freeway as fast, so, we have our paramedic license, so we can 1. pop doors, cut roofs 2. Start immediate resuscitation. Big city=more usage of equipment, but 1 thing that I don't think is completely portrayed, even though it's a game is, all LAFD firefighters must be Paramedics. Even if you have an EMT cert, they put you in Paramedic school, because otherwise, your not in the LAFD. No FF/EMT's, all FF/Paramedics. Just not with bags on all of us XD

Good question. Meaning you have very little to none, and have started something like the dictator mod? lol! You should do something to show what you can do. Or say, then you can get some help. If you can't do anything, why start a mod? Oh yea, and work on 1 mod, because, your chances of even getting started on 1 mod is slim, so, at least 1 of your 2 is d.o.a. Decide or something dude.

Just go over the top and do a bunch to the L.A mod, it always makes it more fun. 1. change house alarm 2. Change vehicle siren 3. Change lights 4. change british guy to dispatch, just save those old british guy files, their important. Incase you don't like the dispatch. If you get bored of the 1.9 map, just save the files into a new folder, then throw on a different map. Oh!!! and RTS mod as a major suggestion!

Cops arn't our heroes. yes, they do some great stuff, and i'm friends with some, but that doesn't make them my hero. Or some firefighters heroes, because their equally difficult. Both have many challenges. Just my opinion.

ALF is taking hold of tillers and ladders. Thats why I love city, even though I work engine. It does cut down on the amount of engines necessary needed at a fire. In Los Angeles? We have ALF tillers out right now. In reserve, yes, there are Seagrave tillers, along with old Seagrave engines. We also have more Pierce then Seagrave at the moment. New York buys most Seagrave engines I believe though. We use the XT chassis for quite a few apperatus.

I know, we're all saddened by the loss of the script, you can let out your sadness, we tried all we could x.x too bad. This is not the fault of the LAFD, we did all we could, and now it's gone. 1.9 is great, just a few bugs, especially with the traffic on the map. You can throw Project Reality lights on most of the vehicles, to make it more realistic, just don't move the entire prototype file. New station tones, and new sirens, and you have a mostly realistic L.A mod ^^

I defiantly have the traffic problem on the bridge. Off topic: right when I was typing this, DirecTV called, and it sounded just like my dad, so, I asked if it was my dad messing around. The guy didn't do anything except keep trying to sell me the sports package XDXDXD ok, back to topic. So just stop re-directing until it gets fixed. Traffic on the L.A bridge stops when you re-direct traffic, causing a huge problem that can lead to 1/2 of the map being cut off, meaning, if you have an emergency, that persons dead. Or gets away. Or the fire gets extremely out of control.

New dispatch or calls or anything?

A Camry Police car? Y crown vics and Chargers are meant to grab attention. I know some people in the LAPD, so here's why they choose these kinds of cars, and not lame Camry's. 1. Lack of power. A Toyota does not have the power to keep up with most street vehicles today. Maybe back in the 40's, but don't worry. DOT has some Priuses, so you and your environmental friendliness can roll with DOT and their boring job. 2. Making a Police presence known. A Camry just does not have the presence a Charger or Crown Vic has. When a Charger or a Crown Vic pull up, it's very recognizable as a Police presence. If a Camry came rolling up, it would be like "What is this, a joke? my late 90's Ford Taurus can beat these guys in an outrun." When it comes down to it, will a Camry keep up with a Ford Mustang? With even throwing a turbo on a Camry, it's still "rice" in the tuning world, because a stock Civic can outrun it for the most part. So, thats an inside to why no1 likes the Camry. I have a huge hate for it, and I drive an Evo 9, lol. The more horsepower, and the larger and more noticable appearance, crime rates decrease. That just won't happen with a prius. And F150's have the same noticeability. CAMRY=FAIL 16 Year old girls and people who can't afford the small difference between a Camry and a Civic. It is a weak car, that is not even considered for stealing by most thiefs it's so lame. You have more chance of getting a Honda or a Hyundai stolen. So on that note. lol. LAPD k9 car I think is the best, or the SUV.
