It's a very hard topic and I was curious to see when someone would post about it, but to be frank I think in general not talking about the shooting, police forces tend to have very militarized responses to riots that end up escalating the situation. While I do recognize that police face many more unpredictable and dangerous hazards when dealing with large crowds, sometimes its better to acknowledge the fact that you are there to keep the peace and ensure everyone's safety. I personally believe it was a brilliant call by the governor to appoint the state police captain to security because under his leadership, he wants to stress the point that the officers are people too, not just some man behind a mask and badge with a gun and handcuffs. The situation is still dangerous however hopefully in the next couple of days the anger will disperse a bit more and the investigation will be swift and just.

I believe the Red Watch team said it will be multiplayer compatible but don't quote me on it

For the mall if there is an entrance would you end up making it an open building like those of the manhattan mod or would you make it a normal em4 building with an enter command? If you were to make it like a typical em4 building with the enter command, would you guys make it so firefighters carrying hoses could enter or does that simply depend on the building size. I know with some buildings firefighters couldn't enter with a hose attached to a hydrant or truck while in others firefighters could walk around with the hoses.

Guys if you read bama's reply to tactical rooster's, gunswat's, and CFDDive11's posts you would see that he already addressed these wishes.

It's a script and they apply the script to all of the engines in the mod and gives them the characteristics that the script contains. If you look up the winterberg mod they use a similar script but it is VERY hard to correctly code in so that is why people in goog's team and hoppah do most of those coding changes.

I have been following this topic almost since the day I joined the forums and you guys have always amazed me with your modeling, skinning, and lighting skills. I'm so glad that you have all continued this enormous project even though it has taken quite a while.

To I think the president or prime minister is smart in doing this because if this continues on a scale this large it will start to spread to other countries and nothing good can come from that. I think things like this just go to show you how opportunistic,greedy,and horrible some people can be and this can only be an event to grow off of.

From the US I couldn't even start to imagine the enormity of this incident for all Norwegians and I give my condolences. Sometimes I wonder why we live in a world where there are people so hell bent on killing people that are so innocent and helpless.
