UGH while I'm super grateful for the work put in by the modders, I'm super annoyed that the download link was removed. :/ It was buggy but it wasn't so buggy that it warranted the removal. Only issues I had was with traffic getting stuck. If someone has v 2.1 can they message me? Pwweeasssseee

There was an unofficial patch released by somebody on the forums fixing really basic things like traffic and wheels.
-
Yeah fellas, this isn't a request thread on the forum. It's a rural town freeplay and I haven't had any issues personally with the firefighting and water. Within the city, there are plenty of hydrants, you just have to look. Tired of fire? Remove it from the freeplay params. This endless discussion is getting annoying. If the mod devs deem it necessary they will add more, if not then leave it be and find an approved modder to do it. It's their mod. I think a moderator should lock this thread until the next patch.

Hey guys, you're all seriously off topic here again.
-
Holy crap it would suck living next to a place like that. Knowing how many false alarm calls departments get, eeeek.
-
Weird, I've changed it a couple of times to crazy values like that but I still get a slew of callouts whilst in the middle of a callout. Never mind anyways, I'm still too happy about this mod existing to let that ruin anything. \<.>/
-
I think the bigger thing here is not getting flooded with five different callouts, like two structure fires, and arsonist, and barricade situation, big car crash. If anyone has settings to keep this from happening. Please save me the trouble, small towns don't have this much happening at once and this has always been an EM4 thing. :/
-
Yeah I'd totally agree, I lived in a small town and they had one tanker. If though the town this is based off of doesn't, then fine by me.

Guys heads up, some of the CTD issues were caused by missing models, at least for me. I fixed the missing wheel issues and police dispatch CTDs by copying but not replacing the prototype files from old Montana mod into the new. Hope that helps until the patch
-
Holy balls people here are needy and picky. For the love of god, search the thread.
-
This will help some people, if you're having issues with crashes or missing wheels, try copying the prototype folder from the last version of Montana mod into the new version *do not replace anything except folders* then it might fix some issues. I did that because I noticed every time I tried to spawn an out of map unit, the game would crash probably due to a missing model. When I did that I also got the wheels on the Impala to work. I'm sure that'll be fixed in the next update though. Also, I LOVE the rural feel of this, I'm perfectly fine with the amount of hydrants. Coming from a rural town, this is really on the money. P.S. I freaking love this mod to death, I can't thank Bama and his team enough. It's so beautiful.

I apologize, I figured out the spine boards. It's hard to describe which buttons you have to click but I figured it out!
-
I'm in love with this mod so much. However I do find trouble in figuring out how to use spine boards? Since there is no specific readme on that, can someone point me in the right direction?
-
Called it:) It's okay though, we know you're all working hard! Don't let it take over your Christmas though!

All this tease, this mod is going to ravage me. Curious question, I'm sure this will be answered when it's released. Are there any protest callouts? I'm a fan of making riots.
-
Wow, okay the discussion on timezones here is priceless and a little concerning. lmao!!

I was at a barn house fire last night for a newspaper and I kind of thought that this might be what the Montana Mod is going to be like. They called in mutual aid from four other agencies but really seemed like they only needed two agencies. Rural barn home was engulfed but by the time I got there it only looked like a small portion had any fire at all (probably more damage where I couldn't see.) It just reminds me of when I play EM4 and call in way more units than needed. haha I'm too excited for this mod guys. <3

I'm going to go on the record and say, oh my gosh. <3 <3 <3 Also on that same record, I agree with the 23rd release date. Waiting until every bug is fixed will likely result in the project continuing to roll back (like a lot of wonderful mods that exist that never came out.) So I'm fine personally with a patch later It's a poop ton a lot better than the same old EM4 vanilla map with minor changes. SOOOO EXCITED
-
So this means multiplayer on the new map maybe?
-
This makes me tingle, Christmas is going to be wonderful! Great work so far, I really enjoy the current version already! I've seriously spent hours in the past searching for a good mix of rural freeplay. There're mods the depict overseas services in freeplay with a nice rural map, but none for the U.S. This is like a wish come true. lmao
-
So I'm wondering with this mod, I'm not sure if this was answered earlier in the thread, I searched but it doesn't talk about the new map specifically. What I'm wondering is, all these screens of the rural landscape and such, will the map be freeplay? Or will it be like the U.S. army mod was where it was just a very long mission?
-
I AM SO EXCITED, this mod sounds like everything I've been looking for since I bought EM4. hahaha
-
I'm more excited about the new map than anything else. haha I'm so tired of the same old callouts.
-
Take your time Just as long as we eventually get to see it. I can mention a few mods I've been excited about that weren't ever released but we promised soon. We're all very thankful for all the hard work!
-
I can't wait for this mod. haha Five more days ya'll!
