  1. I am using a-rescue's "OpenSpecialDoor" Script - http://pastebin.com/RVYviQak - and it works perfectly, the only problem is that it will only open one of my "Special Doors". How would I rewrite the script to open them all?
  2. Yes! Most Police units will patrol (So things like collision investigation or forensic vans won't) as well as many Ambulance Units
  3. SECAmb - Specialist Paramedic Urgent & Emergency Care Vehicle. And if you haven't already, check out TACRfan's video on the Collision Investigation Unit above ^
  4. I hope this is what you wanted, it would take a very long time to describe how to do everything but there are a few tutorials dotted around to help you start off. -Modeling - I use Blender (Free). -Skinning The Models - Gimp is a very good free piece of software. -Adding/Scripting Lights And Sirens - EM4 Editor, many tutorials on this. -Creating Maps And Mapping - EM4 Editor, not many tutorials on this, something a lot of people teach theirself. -Scripting - Most people spend years learning scripting so it's something you have to be dedicated to instead of just jumping into,. -Making The Mods - You use the EM4 Editor -Making New Scripts - Notepad/Notepad ++ are the simplest -How To Ask For/Use Another Mod's Scripts - Message them on here (If they are on here) -What Sotwares Do I need? You will NEED: Emergency 4/911 First Responders and ZModeler (Alternative to ZModeler are the .V30 Blender tools someone released) -What Softwares Do You Recommend? Blender, Gimp -What Software Do You Use For Modeling, Mapmaking, Scriptmaking, And Mod Making? - Blender for modeling, Gimp for texturing, Notepad for scripting, Emergency 4 Editor for mod making.
  5. I had a look but no, they don't. I think I saw some lights in the grille though
  6. Nah he never said, got told an interesting story about some of the vehicles that have been kitted out with blues though (This involved one of the firefighter's old Officers buying Jags and Subaru's to have emergency equipment installed )
  7. Visited a Fire Station today for research on my other project, turns out that Kent are not actually allowed to use unmarked officer vehicles anymore (But use the marked Insignia's only instead) but don't worry, I will keep all unmarked fire officer vehicles in the mod
  8. I thought this but in every picture of this vehicle I can't see anything in the front window - I can check tomorrow when I go somewhere though.
  9. KFRS Vauxhall Insignia Response Vehicle: Model: skaihof Skin: Pottyscotty Lighting (To be added): TACRfan
  10. Those BTP uniforms are very accurate! Love the lighting options we will get too
  11. Yes I am using Mayberry mod as the base, the hospital layout will be completely changed and I will be using british hospital signs
  12. I use an Intel myself so if it becomes unplayable on it, there isn't much I can do as not even I can test it. I will be optimizing the mod so it will run well though, so yes, the end result SHOULD run on Intel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once again, sorry for the lack of updates. I have been busy with life stuff as well as another Emergency project i'm doing - I will hopefully get back to he mod this week.
  13. Thank you Patvmru! For those who may still struggle with the mod, toward the release there will be a guide made so people will know what unit does what, what to sent to different incidents and more
  14. Thanks, I'll have a look through the files and see what doesn't match up.
  15. Was testing the Siren script (I was having a lot of crashes with it, found the problem ) and I had a Stolen vehicle event - I thought they were a bit rare so I would play it through...Best Stolen Vehicle Event I have ever done! I knew the path of the vehicle so I sent a Traffic unit to stop oncoming traffic giving me space to stop the vehicle (I think this is called a "Rolling Roadblock" so correct me if it's not) and that worked perfectly - I then got a Stinger set up just in case the vehicle got further then I wanted it to. Next I sent an ARV and two traffic units to perform a hard stop on him (Yes, for it to be a hard stop I would have more then just one ARV but the rest were at Burger King ) It all went brilliantly and I was so happy with it I decided to share what it all looked like: With the Roadblock I wanted to stick the Rear Reds on for realism but didn't want all the vehicles behind it to go away - Some mods have it so Rear reds (Directional Lights) do not redirect vehicles, some like this but some don't - Vote what you want in the Poll.
  16. Forgot to add that bit - Yes it loads fine in the editor.
  17. Hi all, I have tried to change the map for my mod but now I just get a crash to desktop whenever the map loads (In-game, not editor). I have removed LA Station Start script just in-case of any conflicts. The way I changed the map (Yeah I know this was the stupidest way ever) was by copying all the files in the original EM4 "Maps" file located in "Data" into my mod. My logfile: http://pastebin.com/DLLNnbQi
  18. It's the BEV (British Emergency Vehicles) group on FB ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Owner of the photo has given me permission to share the picture so here it is :
  19. Correct - MAGIRUS turntable ladder on a brand new Mercedes Econic body - There is only one picture of it but I won't post as it was shared in a private group, however I can say it's a beauty!
  20. Sorry for the quiet, been working on a few different bits but am also quite busy this Holiday - Just to keep you updated: There are a couple more unmarked vehicles ready but my main focus at the moment is the Main Fire Station and a brand new Fire Appliance that KFRS have recently acquired (So new that it's not even in Service yet)!
  21. Make sure you name the model the same as the .V30 file - So if you exported as "GT-R1" you have to make sure that the name for the model in Zmodeler is called "GT-R1" otherwise it will not export.
  22. I haven't done any research into it yet but if someone doesn't beat me to it I will give you the amount they can hold. I never knew there was such a script around as I thought it was all hard-coded, would love it if you could link me,
