Kent (UK) Mod (Dev Release)
Pottyscotty replied to Pottyscotty's topic in Early Access/Alpha Stage Modifications
1) You sometimes have Sector commanders at things like basic house fires (https://www.flickr.com/photos/kfrs/16544889036/in/album-72157650534348053/) so I wouldn't think they call out a Brigade manager each time (I would also think they would have white helmets which this FF does not) I think Brigade managers can take up the role of Operations Commander (Same as the Station Manager can). 2) Red and white checkered is Command support normally? How come you use them for BAECO? 3) I like those ideas, I'll look into them Called that here as well Green and orange? Weird! -

Looking at pictures from around the UK it seems they all have different choices which doesn't make sense. -

I was looking at some pictures of KFRS and there was a Firefighter acting as Sector Commander (https://www.flickr.com/photos/kfrs/16939466514/in/dateposted/) - No markings on his helmet. -

Very interesting, I always like finding out bits of information like this. Can I ask if you have a role in the Fire Service because you certainly have a lot of knowledge of it! -

It is one like Channel mentioned, the Station manager's one is a bit thicker than the Watch Manager's, just you can't see it very clear in these pictures -

The secret is Duxton Fire Station, I will not post pictures of it until it is near completion because there are certain bits that I need to finish first otherwise it won't look very nice - More details to come on that one. KFRS Fire Personnel WIP - All helmets are complete, the things left to do is the actual PPE and the Tabards. Sorry for the lack of updates on the Sabre, been working on some Fire Uniforms and the "Secret" from a little while ago (It's a big one so will take a bit of time). -

Correct, it is a Dennis Rapier model but both the Sabre and Rapier are almost identical so I was able to use this model. I have since updated the skin and I think I did make it a bit smaller at some point. -
You have to Unpacked the model file Editor - Modifications - Unpack file - Select the model file

Cheers for that one, never heard of a visual aid like that on Fire Appliances, is that method still in use on modern vehicles? -
[Help] Lighting Commands Overwriting Each Other
Pottyscotty replied to Pottyscotty's topic in Modding Related Support
My question was not how to make them work separately, that I have done (Scripts, lights, the lot) my problem was that my commands were being overwritten --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After going through all the scripts it seems like my only solution is that vehicles with the extra option cannot have the Warning lights command. -

They vary from place to place, some have just announcements, some have bell and announcements, some have just bell. I think when there is no announcement system they have a light system in place which indicates the Appliances turning out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dennis Sabre WIP - There will be 2 choices of these, one with this rotator bar (It won't be as bland as it currently is when finished) and a Strobe bar. There is a green light on the rear which can be activated separately, this light indicates that the Appliance is being used as a Command Point (I do think this is what it means, on newer appliances it is a White/Red Flashing mast). A Command point lighting system will be added to all Appliances. Also thank you to whoever suggested Duxton as a town name early in the topic as this is what the map will now be called *Cab and locker models by Firequi -
For some bizarre reason, whenever I use both the Flood lights command with the Warning Lights this happens: -Only Scene lights show up as a command -When the command is clicked, the Scene lights activate but the command changes into the Warning lights command -Command stays as Warning lights and flood lights stay on (You can't see the flood light on as it is round the back of the appliance) Note:- I have made an edit to the flood light script to change the target lighting from "Special" Lights to "Traffic Light Green" which should not have any impact on "Blinkers". Anyone got a solution?

Which lighting method do you prefer? 1) Polygon (The Skoda Octavia) 2) Corona (The BMW X5) Say your favorite as a comment (Having issues with Poll) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CX4H0Nk_fU4 -
Thank you very much for your help, all working perfectly

DDS Converter didn't work, shows the same thing unfortunately. Downloading Paint, can I ask if X8R8G8B8 is the name I should give it or is that the file extension?
