Pottyscotty replied to Pottyscotty's topic in Early Access/Alpha Stage Modifications
Oh I thought it was done via the unit's XTL file! I shall fix all them for the patch. -

I think that's a PC specific issue as that used to happen to me with my old PC but not new. -
I remember it being in the screenshots for this mod, not sure what page you will find them on though. Perhaps it is being put in London project as well?

Modified Zoom from Montana Mod
Pottyscotty replied to Sawdbuster's topic in Technical Related Support
This is to do with your config file, it's not a mod and shouldn't have any effect on multiplayer. However if you want to make it its original state again someone could either upload theirs or you can reinstall. -

@twmcpe Environment agency is an interesting one, I'll add it to the list and see if I can do something with them! I shall be attempting that Fabia at some point, even as it's the most hated vehicles in KP it's one of my favourite BTP is almost a definite but I'll probably only do immigration enforcement if I add a port. Yes that is the Station it's based off, I even followed the building plans the council put up so it is as close to the real size as possible. Still needs furnishings etc though. -

Those are the responsibility of the council (Which will get vehicles) or private contractors. UK power networks deal with normal power "Stuff" to homes/businesses http://www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk -

I shall be releasing a patch when I am back which fixes different problems people have had. @pledge - Yes I have re-done it but a need to tidy the model up a bit. @TWMCPE UK Power van but no it won't be playable as it would serve no purpose even in a roleplay setting (Although an incident I'm planning for a new map may have some use for it) -

I will upload my save file when I am back @TWMPE when you say your firefighters won't get out use hoses etc are they wearing command tabards? Only the PPE and High Viz versions can do normal stuff. -

Thank you Mintcake, I think London Mod has been an inspiration to all UK mods. -
Kent (UK) Mod (Dev Release)
Pottyscotty replied to Pottyscotty's topic in Early Access/Alpha Stage Modifications
This is probably because there is a large bunch of vehicles there so alot to load in. I have a really poor PC but can handle that bit, try running as administrator, or turn down some graphics settings. ------- Yes that will be changed, wheels are currently part of the main model to save me time but they will all be made proper wheels next update -

I'll look into the ARV problem. Yes Fire Appliances will be fireproof and as I said in the download post I am not answering questions that have already been answered in the Readme file. -------- Yes and yes! -------- Kent Mod v0.4/Readme.txt All firefighters are able to get hoses and use them, Crew managers can get them out but not use them (Little error) and the watch and station managers can't get out us them? Yes the firefighters disappearing never used to happen at all and I only started getting it recently but I think I can fix it. I shall look into the water carried problem for you -

This is a rather early version of the mod so these kind of things haven't yet been implemented. -

New video showing the recommend way to set everything up and make it so you don't have to do it again! The realistic way to send your Firefighters and Appliances out! @USAR It's a possibility, yes. ---------------------------------------------------- I'm off to London for the weekend, I will have internet so can still answer any questions. Work on the mod will resume when I get back -

A little FAQ on the mod: Q: There are so many lights to turn off, how should I do it? A: Click and drag to select a group of vehicles (It doesn't matter if you also select people) and press Shift-B. -------------------- Q: Who goes into what Fire vehicles? A: You have four ranks. Station Manager, Watch Manager, Crew Manager and Firefighter. To identify these in the Mod using the shoulder markings, look here: http://www.firesafe.org.uk/role-structure-in-the-british-fire-service/ In the Fire Station the Watch Manager and Station Manager have their own rooms (Which will be turned into offices). The Station Manager is nearest to the back, Watch Manager nearest to the front of the building. The Watch Manager would go on the First Pump Appliance out (Most likely this will be the Battenburg at the front of the Station) along with the three Firefighters on their own in the bigger room (For realism leave one of these without turnout gear as it will be the driver/pump operator). In the bigger room you also have two other lines of people, these both consist of 3 Firefighters and 1 Crew manager. Once again you can leave one of the Firefighters without Turnout gear as a driver. These crews would man the two Appliances in the rear bays. In the next room on there are three crews, the two that have two people in go in the Ladders and the one that has three people in would go in the Command Support Unit out back. Your Station Manager would take a Response car to a bigger incident. The last two Appliances out the back are Retained/Part time/Volunteer. You can find two retained crews by the river, next to them a crew of two with a response vehicle, these two firefighters would travel to the Station and man the Incident Response Unit. -------------------- -

1) Possibly your graphics settings, this is why I never play on high 2) I am unable to change speeds at the moment until I set all the units up which will be done next update. 3) Yes there will be a new map. Tip: Select a load of vehicles at once and press Shift-B. 4) Answered in the Readme. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The mod download has too much traffic and Dropbox was the only place to work for me. I am getting it uploaded to Emergency Planet so please be patient Edit:- Emergency Planet did not work either but Mega is now accepting the upload so it will be ready in 30 minutes - 1 Hour. -

Yes although it is not as big as some other mods it has a pretty large file size, this is because it is basically two mods in one as I am not able to delete any LA mod things yet. -
