Make sure the pump operator is present and on the side of the vehicle.

There's going to be 1 ALS ambulance on map, another 2 ALS off map. Then 2 off map BLS ambulances. I dont want to make any more additions to the real life agencies because the pdf (attached here - see page 10) specifies the vehicles they have IRL. The fictional ones, I am open to changing but not by very much. Maybe the brush truck can be given some medical abilities, or the engine. In the attached pdf, it makes mention to an extracation or crash truck. Is this an example of a rescue engine? CWPP-2010-Update.pdf

Thanks for the long post. Very informative. There is a way to make a more complex patient treating system for Em4 but no plans have been made to create it in the mod. The only thing that is in the works is the function for severe injuries automatically being transported off map. The player can also be forced to transport patients by helicopter only. We'll see what we can come up with over time. BLS transport calls are something we have in mind. I just need to create it and figure out where it sits ingame. We wont be doing a VFD ambulance and instead will rely on the county wide private ambulance provider. The ambulance stationed at the clinic will remain as is. Pump and roll isnt planned. I dont think its even doable in Em4. I will bear in mind the ratio of callouts you've provided.

Problems with mission 5: Motorway Bridge Collapses
itchboy replied to em4mods099's topic in Mission Related Support
There is an injured victim on the opposite side of the bridge who will need to be rescued by a medic helicopter. Cars that are underwater need to be marked by a diver first before the crane can pick them up. The game assumes you will send away most if not all injured before the bridge collapse cutscene happens. Here is someone's video of it from YouTube. -
Start by learning how to model a basic shape in whatever software you prefer. Zmod and Blender each have their own distinct tools, methods and terminologies so you will have to settle on one. Once you know how to model something basic like a square, rectangle or letter, start figuring out how to create a 2d mesh out of the blueprint youve done.

[EM3] Vehicles at fire station empty and no option to fill.

You need to select one of the buttons in the station to call firefighters manually. Then you need to suit them up in their specific roles of FF, EMT, USAR or hazmat. Cant remember which switch it was but try selecting your cursor into the station. -
Thank you to everyone who provided insight. So that the large plot of land in the mod doesnt go to waste, Ill have BLS calls go to the hospital. Everything else is sent to the hospital in Dillon which is an hour away. The medical system wont be the most accurate though. The way I plan on doing it is that as soon as a medic heals a patient, the patient is assigned an injury level based on the amount of red bar health they are currently losing. It wont be changeable or what, but Ill try to at least represent some level of realism. I need help decorating the interior of the facility. This is the ER. What props would I need to model to make it at least appear functional? I dont know what Ill do with this side room. Maybe make it the spawn point for the paramedics. https://imgur.com/vo1dkpY This main hall is the waiting room and lobby. There's an elevator there for the second floor, or should I replace it with conventional stairs? https://imgur.com/T91oXRU Here's a preview of another unit. This is Lima VFD's brush truck. Cab by MikeyPI, rear end by me. Special thanks to Reaper and Armyconrad for helping me figure out what all the compartments and machines were. http://www.emergency-planet.com/uploads/monthly_2018_04/Untitled.thumb.png.662543cdf523e2e66a4cee30e1f6d54a.png

So in general, BLS calls are what the clinic is for? In that case, I need to create BLS transport calls. That would make the clinic much more usable. What about strokes, heart attacks and pulmonary problems? Offmap hospital right?

mod where you can pause or choose which incidents occur.

That would be Bieberfelde. Their callouts are partially custom so its not really something you can do in every mod. -
On an unrelated topic, the next version of the mod will finally have a proper hospital model. This model actually has been sitting unfinished in the mod folders for years now. Here come some questions: Would a town such as Monida have a community medical center or is this just a clinic. A major hospital would seem out of place here so that option wont be considered. In the first place, what kind of building would such a model represent? Are places like this publicly funded or privately owned? What kind of medical injuries would a health center cover? Do they have an ER, or rooms for patients? What other rooms would typically be in the building? Would people be happy with a script that sends the most severely injured patients offmap instead of the onmap hospital? For reference, the closest thing I could find IRL is the Barrett Hospital in Dillon. Model is WIP, by bama1234. Interior, roof and UV mapping to be done by me.

We previously considered a military surplus unit for the mutual aid DVFD tanker but it was scrapped based on the idea that a tanker isnt going to respond from 60 miles away. Another suggestion Id like to put forward. I appreciate you sharing those old-school pictures btw. I really like the GMC tanker.

Would one of these work? I like the cab on it because its the same as the old NYPD ESS trucks. The on map VFD brush truck will remain as an older Dodge. It will have to be rebuilt though due to some issues with the model.

This is the cab of a Peterbilt 330 series truck. It needs to be scaled down a bit, and it should match up with the rest of my other released content. If you wish to turn this into a 348, you will need to scale it up and increase its ride height a little bit. Free to use in other Em4 mods as long as you credit me. Not for commercial use - you cannot make any money from this model! -
What tank capacity would those vehicles have? Im shooting for at least 2500 because the player is going to struggle with a lack of water if we go any lower than that.

Ive had this model sitting unused for 2 years now. I think I'll just have this as the Monida police SUV instead of an older Tahoe. It would probably look good next to the Intrepid cruiser too. Sorry for changing my previous judgement, but I felt that it would have been weird having the same model for Monida's police SUV and the Butte police SUV. Monida Pass VFD is getting an old Ford fire truck for their engine. Anyone have suggestions for what the tanker should be? Try to keep it to something from before 1990. http://www.emergency-planet.com/uploads/monthly_2018_04/Untitled.png.c2971f1784116e5d83157ec5c7870ca7.png Both models created by me.

Assuming this is the orig. LA mod with no LWS, then you will need to modify several scripts to spawn the cloned invisible hose connector vehicle. I havent used this system in years so my explanation may not be complete.
-
Thanks for letting the staff know.
-
Just to be clear, is this based off of EmC's Ukraine mod, or is it different?
-
Yes, that's the plan. We're still debating whether it would be easier to have it as a ladder vehicle with dummy hose connections, or a regular fire engine with dummy ladder parts.
