    You need to remove the "Use" and "repaier" commands from the engineer so he doesnt spawn with the bag. Give him a command to get the bag and in that command, the Use, floodlight and repair commands will be assigned to him. Removing the bag should have the opposite effect of removing those commands so the engineer loses his abilities.

    The game itself, an image editor program (paint, photoshop or GIMP) and a text editor program (notepad, wordpad or even MS word).

    Em4 uses some really confusing mechanics for the boats. It would be worth it checking out the NYC mod because it has 2 kinds of boats. A normal SWR and then a jetski. Check out the naming conventions they did with the prototypes, models and superChilds.

    I have implemented a "delete traffic" button so you can despawn every traffic car on the map, hassle free. Some paths were edited to reduce the traffic bug but it just wont go away no matter what I tried. The dummy objects with health bars have been removed in favor of more discreet dummy objects. Stay tuned on the stop sign scripting concept. I have plans on making it work once and for all.

    It cannot be found in any of the xml files. You must create a totally new command script to use the SetSpeed function. I am talking about making Em4 scripts btw.

    In a campaign mission, you can make use of the SetUpgradeLevel function to change how fast a person moves. For that, you need to make custom command scripts to change the speed of a person. In freeplay mode, the person speed cannot be changed using the upgrade level. You need to use SetSpeed instead, but it causes problems with the animation.

    Be patient, the mod isnt finished. Would this be enough? I have a mod asset that's not for Montana that I will be releasing. The original LA mod Caprice desperately needed a rework so here it is. This was also the losing option for the Montana cop car poll, so those of you who want one in the mod can have it in theirs.

    Em3's LA mod is on this site's DL center. You can still install the LA mod (Em3 or Em4) into any path and manually copy it into your Mods folder.

    In standard Em4, magic is the keyword. Fairz is what you would use in Em4 Deluxe. I dont know why the game wont take your keyboard inputs unless it also wont take the arrow keys.

    Type in "fairz" and the cheat message should show up in the upper left corner.

    It means that the installer cannot find a valid installation of Em4 on your PC. The installer is probably doing a false positive. The first thing you can try is manually directing the installer to your Em4 folder if the installer allows you to. The next one is checking regedit to see if there is an entry in there for Em4.

    Ill check the mod. Despite this little hiccup, I am happy that the download link works at least.

    Oops. I actually uploaded the three parts to the mod, but forgot the approve the file. I got used to my admin privileges and forgot I was doing this to someone else's file. Check the link out to see if it works on your end.

    This video might seem slow paced, but its good for people who arent knowledgeable with computers but want to edit the game's files.

    Home is the best place to start with. Your profile picture has a station 61, so that's the set of vehicles you should try to make in the game. Once you settle on a livery or decal you wanna do, start by editing the textures of the vehicles in the LA mod. You need to download this unpacked textures set before you can start modding. Go into paint.net, GIMP or Photoshop and start editing.

    Go to the main menu and check if there's a 1.3 icon on the lower left of your screen. The top header of your main menu also shows the game. It can be either 911 First Responders, Emergency 4, or Emergency 4 Deluxe. Only Emergency 4 (the original base game in German, French or Italian) needs the patch. The other two versions do not need it.

    What version of the game are you running? Some older versions of the game have to be patched to 1.3 for mods to work.
