  1. I believe the author had it removed due to bugs with the mod he didnt have the time to fix. The EmP link in particular was removed due to a bug with this site's DL server. It wouldnt let people download files bigger than 200mb, which made the mod link unusable.
  2. When you export the v3o file, it must be named the same as the object in Zmod. If the object in Zmod is named "crownvic_01", then you must type in the export field as "crownvic_01" as well.

Here are some Scania cabs that would be used a lot in your mod. The things that you need to model are the rear compartment portions of the fire engines.   4. Ill recommend to you another animator if you cant get Hoppah's to work. Its an all in one program and works really well as long as the model you're doing is optimized.
  5. In the future, make your own thread for your specific problem. It is completely different than the one OP has here. Did you spawn the antenna object in the fire department menu? It is literally an antenna object. Click on it to spawn the vehicles in.

  8. That's totally fine. Will you be doing an ambulance that's operated by the fire department or will it belong to its own separate agency?
  9. I think the game version matters, but I am not sure. I tried an MP game with a few guys who had 911FR while I have Deluxe, and there were no problems. Have you checked if the mod files are the same for both you and your friend?

  11. Your DxDiag confirms you have a 1070 and only a 1070, so your PC probably already is using the GPU. Congrats on the GPU btw. Have you tried playing a campaign mission to see if the game crashes in that game mode? I am asking this question so we can eliminate if this is something with Em4 rendering. The logfile gives me a clue though: It says "?ERROR: dynlight.vsf Version 3.0.0.0 or higher required!" which is indicative of the GPU drivers possibly being out of date. Try updating them first, then seeing if the error persists.
  12. The walking logic does not work in regular freeplay. It only works in campaign mode. The reason is that the "upgradeLevel" code for changing between walking and running is overwritten in freeplay. There is no way for you to make the script work in a mod that isnt based on the Em4 campaign. There is also no way to make the person go slower when getting equipment, if you are in normal freeplay. You can make them go slower when in the Em4 campaign mode though. You can actually prove this theory. Use your modified move script, but play a campaign mission of Em4. You will notice that your units will indeed walk slower when carrying certain equipment. They will not do this in freeplay.

No idea what you mean with reflective lighting. Is it radiation you are referring to? SWAT trailer for mutual aid police Many vehicles still dont have lights Updated firefighter models UI icons for units Tooltips for commands have yet to be written Fix the water level de-sync on the portable ponds Add the pike pole and halligan as equipment (Optional) Add Lima VFD's new engine All of the vehicle related problems can be taken care of if I dedicate an entire week to it. I am past the half way mark with them. Everything else like lights and textures can be outsourced to other people.

  16. Ive got the script working fully. Video coming soon. I will be updating the firefighter models to Bama's firefighter set.
  17. Do you know how to script, or at the very least, make a new one? All you need is to copy paste an existing script, and clear out all the content in the checkPossible, checkTarget and PushActions sections. Just dont delete the headings. I'll send over the partial code for this logic. Hopefully you can figure this out.

  19. Yes, do the above, except remove the lines relating to the virtual object. If this is purely visual, then you can just set it up as the above. Doesnt even need the sound line either. As long as you have it set up that the specific gate is linked to a specific vehicle, it should work.

  21. I have a different method in mind for your idea. I would assign an "open gate" command to every vehicle in the station. Pressing that command will open/close the gate for that specific vehicle.
