  1. Do you still have the the hard disk from the old PC? You need to copy paste the whole Mods folder from that PC into your new one.
  2. I checked the German forums and they report that newer AMD cards cause problems for them too. They also reported that Nvidia cards have no issues, but also some Nvidia cards are non functioning. The biggest failure of the developers of the game is their inability to patch the game to work with modern hardware. Its probably the worst missed opportunity they had with the re-release of Em4 Deluxe.
  3. Based on all the reports, the only conclusion I can draw is that Em4 does not like the drivers of modern GPUs and CPUs. The usual solution I give is to "use older drivers" but on really new hardware, that literally is not an option.
  4. In the future, please don't ask release dates, it is against site rules. Most mods have a change clothes script. Speed will not be a command but will be toggled using the siren.
  5. I dont even acknowledge the existence of the like/dislike system. Could hardly care for it, and wished it could be removed but sadly the forum software forces its activation. Reaper and myself are ironing out bugs with the Freightliner engine. We hope to get this taken care of in the coming week.
  6. For a first station model, this is pretty good. The brick texture is layered correctly underneath the text too. Very nice. You got me beat, even I dont know how to UV map in Blender. I dont even wanna know how you did the shadows and rendering on the lower right window. If you ever take the plunge into doing cars, Ill be needing help with some of my projects.
  7. The London mod is a British take on modding. There are many famous mods outside of this site too. I can't go without mentioning German ones such as the Webgerg mod, Winterberg mod and the Bieberfelde Mod. Two American mods worthy of mentioning are the Jackson County mod and the West Falls mod, however they are not hosted here but on a separate modding Discord. Harbor City is a multiplayer based mod that is available here. Within this site, some unfinished mods to look out for are EmC Unit's Miami mod, and bama1234's Montana Mod. There are more to check out in the DL center of this site. Try checking on google and you should find some places beyond this site. Facebook as well hosts some foreign mods like the Italian, French, Spanish and Chinese mods coming out as of recently.
  8. Its a common misconception that mods can only be played in certain versions. In reality, all mods work regardless of Steam, disc version, digital download or Em4 gold copies. The only thing that changes is the game directory's location, therefore you will have a "Mods" folder in a different place. Steam has a complicated path, while the disc versions have a direct path that most of the old school, including myself, are used to. The only thing that matters is deluxe or normal Em4. The reason is that the deluxe map has more events than normal Em4. Playing a deluxe freeplay map on normal freeplay mode will cause deluxe only events such as hydrant water, traffic jams, defective electric boxes and fireworks being spawned incorrectly. They're not game breaking except for the incompatible particles causing lag. The version currently available in Steam is the Deluxe 1.3 version of the game. Users of 911FR and standard Em4 however will have to bear with the above mentioned bugged deluxe only events.

  10. I'm seriously considering leaving the heal script off the mod. Its the most time consuming one to pull off, and the most difficult. All of the other goals I have set for the mod are much more achievable in less time. Here's the latest batch of textures that were done. Models from various authors, MikeyPI, EA + Ubisoft for model conversions, and myself as well.
  11. Progress on the Montana DNRC rigs. Ford F550 cab by Ubisoft, updated to 2014 by me, converted to Em4 by me. Dodge Ram cab by Ubisoft, converted to Em4 by me. Rear brush skid unit made by me. The models lack the pipes for the water, which I will finish in another day once I figure out what pipe goes where and what connections do what.
  12. That bug happens because the "campaignProgress" file contains the values for unit speed. Uploaded here is hopefully a copy of the original campaign file that works. Paste this to the LA mod "Save" folder. In the future, please don't post on 10 year old threads that have been inactive.   13. The simplest way to get more money is to cheat in the game. If using base Em4, or 911 First Responders: Type in "magic" If using Em4 Deluxe: Type in "fairz" Then press Control + Shift + F11 and you get 100 thousand credits.

I'll update the OP because this is what seems to be a commonly asked question. - Finish all playable vehicle models - Add in more incident variations like HAZMAT car accidents - Technical rescue calls, specifically an underground entrapment. - A big hurdle: Finish the advanced heal script. If so desired, this can be scaled back for a later release. - Add lights to all units - At a later date, replace the MHP and EMS helicopters - At a later date, implement an alternate snow version of the map
  15. This is the rear tray skid unit to be used on all Montana DNRC brush trucks. I initially wanted one implemented but I will add a second one just to give the player more resources to use.
  16. This is a glitch with Em4 itself. It doesnt set the passenger and transport slots unless the user defines them in the editor. Ideally, it should set based on its "units" file but alas it does not. There are a two ways to remedy this, neither are easy. The most direct method is to set the vehicle slots through scripting (programming) the game to recognize each unit. Another method is to modify the passenger and transport slots in the editor for each vehicle.

  19. This is a side project I decide to do for fun. There will be no new scripts or a new map, just a complete set of retro themed units for the LA mod. This project is planned to only cover the most essential units within the game. An early 2000's unit set will be released in this project, however it will only replace the lowest quality models in the mod. 7/30/22 Major 80's units assets are released. New scripts and features added too. Be sure to check back regularly for updates and glitch fixes. They will be announced in this thread. The future plans for this mod are the following: - 90s Civilian Cars - Helicopters for various agencies However, I would like to go back to finishing Montana mod now that this project is out. Expect the full V1 of this submod to be released after Montana mod has been completed.
  20. A Happy Halloween to everyone! This isnt going into Montana, but I do have one more fictional police car I plan on doing today. The 91-92 Caprice base model will be uploaded to the DL center in a few hours.

  22. The tiller trailer is spawned by script. It uses a virtual object to spawn the trailer. The tiller cab must be spawned within the virtual object for the script to realize that "I have to spawn the trailer for this cab". The cabin must also have the DummyTiller (or something like that) command for the script to recognize it. The tiller script must also be edited if you changed the name of the tiller cabin prototype, or the tiller trailer prototype.
  23. Update, vehicle hose connections have been revamped, so vehicle the water supplies can be chained together. In this picture, the tanker in the center is feeding to the engine on the right and left. The yellow engine in turn feeds to a brush truck on the rightmost side of the screen. The tanker itself is receiving water from a hydrant across the street. This allows for more flexibility in brush fire situations.
  24. I find it totally rad that you got to this level of progress within one month, with zero past experience. You're doing great. I can see it coming together already.
