  1. I think we're staying with under 20 unique units. The area depicted in the mod is rural and has limited firefighting resources. For your mods in the large cities of Brazil, I would expect upwards of 50 for the fire department alone, for example.
  2. Yes. The last update was last Thursday. I'm curious, what made you think the mod isn't being worked on? Model by EmC-Unit. Big thanks to him for allowing use of this model. This is going to be the MHP helicopter, however this is not the final model, it will have to be edited into the OH-58A first.

  4. That's an axis bug. I had it when I modified my trailers for the LA mod. Its trial and error unfortunately. It seems to be variable depending on the length of the tiller cabin and trailer. Here is the axis setup on both my tiller and tiller cabin. These are 2 different screenshots scaled together, for context. The tiller rear is positioned right over the connector, while the cabin is pulled a bit forward. It should not be centered or else you get the tiller seizure problem.

  7. What other export options does MAX have? Another option is to import the file into Blender (as 3ds) and export it as obj into Zmod. Import the obj to Zmod and export as v3o. If you dont wanna deal with Zmod (I dont blame you), you can use the Blender v3o exporter from the download center. It works fine with most models, however, every single polygon and edge in the model will be split, leading to a jagged or rough surface. I have a fix for this though, that I will explain if you chose to take this route.

  11. I won't be doing 90s civilian cars. It would take too much time as there are too many. It would be more worthwhile for me to do a modern civilian mod to update all of the previous decade's civilian cars.

  15. MikeyPI's version is a lot better to my eyes. It has more accurate shaping on the body, and shares many parts with the old F series models he did, just like the real trucks. My hope is that pickup truck versions are made out of this new Excursion, so that we have a consistent look across the F series line.
  16. This will purely be a vehicle replacement. Maybe period correct sirens too. EMS fleet started. I look forward to doing the ambulances and the EMS GMC Suburbans.
  17. Some updates. I hope to have something out by next year, but Montana will still be my priority. The Diplomat (center) will be released in plain white form later. The 1997 and 1994 CVPI's were uploaded the other week as well.
  18. In Blender, be in object mode and press Ctrl+A Click "apply rotation and scale". That might solve your issue. I no longer export using v3o from blender. Instead, I use .obj, import it into Zm2 and then export to v3o from there.

  21. Theyre intended that way for Em4's door logic. To reset them, keep rotating them by 90 degrees until they line up. Then all you need to do is place them back on the model. They will not fit 100% exactly because the v3o file format intentionally distorts models for some reason.
  22. Say hello to Beaverhead SAR's personnel and dog transporter. This will also be used in my 90's LA mod as an ambulance. Stay tuned with that.
  23. In my testing, the "alternative" doesnt work on vehicles. I could be wrong though and there's another way to do it. The NYC mod has that script and its possible for you to re-tool it to work with your setup. It wont be easy though.
