  1. All the fire engines in that picture are legitimate, except for the USFS cab. The F250 and Fusion are models that person purchased. I suspect the Expedition is my converted model but I am not too upset about a converted model. I am now 100% sure the Explorer in there is mine. Maybe I'll have a stronger case if I report this guy for also re-selling purchased models from Turbosquid? Its sad that this guy knows how to model really well, its just that they chose the lazy route and took my stuff. smh Montana Mod progress is not halted even if I'm not going to post about it anymore. It will be down to Bama and anyone willing to help push the project through. I have done my part for the scripts. I am especially proud of the pond drafting, ground ladder, roof venting and engine relay scripts. I can only hope they will be treated with respect by the community and not copied into other mods without my and bama's permission.

  5. I think I know what is happening. In West Falls mod, those person units have alpha reflections. I know, me and Dennis made them. They're an overlay on them that makes them glossy, but only on specific parts like reflective stripes. Your system is not playing well with Em4's alpha reflections system, and is bugging out. Its probably because your system is too new for this, or it is a laptop integrated GPU. You are correct that lowering the graphic settings fixes the problem because the alpha reflections are disabled in that setting.
  6. Does this affect vehicles and objects too, or just persons? Its possible that your GPU doesn't like Em4 and won't load textures properly, because the game's instructions are outdated for new cards.
  7. This is West Falls mod. Have you modified any files, or is it like this regardless of any mod? I have never seen this problem before in default Em4 or functional mods.

  9. It appears that the model on the left is missing a texture. The correct texture (as specified inside of the v3o file) needs to be in the same folder as the model file, or else the model will be plain white. I have no idea why the model on the right is brown. It could be an incorrectly assigned texture.
  10. This one's a long time coming, and its being uploaded in a few hours, once I iron out some bugs. This will be a volunteer fireman's POV for this mod. Model by me, texture made by @Yankee43.

  14. My time as of late has been spent creating 3D models for general use, the over the last two months. I am up to one dozen unique entries as of right now. This is where all my time has gone to as of late. This one however will be a unique tie-in with the mod. I will not release a dev version until the mod is finished. Huge thanks to @armyconrad for providing side mirror textures and reference pictures for the whole truck.

  17. Read back on the previous pages. I already announced what is on the map. You can also re-read all the discussions that led those decisions being made. I understand you have questions, but please, re-read the previous postings so I don't spend time answering something I've already said.
  18. No, Chester Hospital is gone. The EMS agency in the county is known as Beaverhead EMS and has four ambulances for the whole county. There is no county FD anymore. I won't go into too much detail because there were discussions on the agencies in previous threads. For MCI, there is an autoHeal script Ive created so the EMS supervisor can manage many patients at once.
  19. I'd like to share some techniques for texturing. I am giving this advice with beginners in mind. Lettering plays a big part in the presentation of your mod. Having a solid black/white Arial font will make your skins look cheap. Try playing with borders, colors, goldleaf, even curving and circle text. Having presentable lettering will push your truck's look from forgettable to believable. Some examples I was able to come up with.
  20. Only 1 in the hospital. The whole county only has 4 ambulances and it wouldn't be right giving half the fleet to one town.
  21. Individual units can be called by these dispatchers instead of relying on the chiefs, which were quite annoying. It also doesn't crash anymore. That bug is one of the reasons we discourage playing the old mod.

  23. The delay feature has been implemented for quite some time now. It only works on the dispatcher commands but not the vanilla units menu, which is why I had to delete that.
  24. There will be no sheriff station. The department only has one, and it is in Dillon, 60 miles away from Monida. The little spot at town hall is enough for us. Same with MHP. As the mod is right now, the sheriff units park and respond with no problems whatsoever. I have not had the time to work on scripts or gameplay, I am working on/off on the less considered vehicles such as the 2 helicopters, a rescue boat and the remaining volunteer POV's for the mod.
  25. I think we're staying with under 20 unique units. The area depicted in the mod is rural and has limited firefighting resources. For your mods in the large cities of Brazil, I would expect upwards of 50 for the fire department alone, for example.
