  1. This is possibly due to incorrect values in em4.cfg. The Em4 screen resolution should be reset back to original. If that doesn't work, I'll have to dig up the other causes. EDIT: I searched and found another possible solution, which is to remove video codecs, but that assumes your whole game wont launch even without mods. Did you try to test the game even before installing mods, just to be sure?

  3. Here's another bit of modelling for this project. This one's not just a lightbar but a bit of a legend: the Federal Signal Twinsonic. This one's not just any Twinsonic either, its the California variant with an additional pair of fat halogen flashing lights on the left side half of the lightbar that is used for the steady burn and rear amber flasher. Here are some ingame shots featuring the TEC skins by Edi6192 I can also announce that the single stretcher script is in the submod.
  4. You will need to reset your xres and yres values found in the Em4.cfg, or Em4deluxe.cfg. Open up the .cfg files with notepad and find the values named "xres" and "yres". If those values are configured wrong, the game wont start. A safe reset value for both would be xres = 1024 yres = 768
  5. EMS person units are in. I also found a use for the "noHelmet" versions of the LA modification firefighters.
  6. You could try using reShade but it isnt 100% compatible with Em4, and there are alot of problems with it making the GUI (buttons for commands) become unusable.
  7. First ingame test. There's a lot thats glitched still but the stations and all spawn scripts work at least.
  8. There is some differences, mostly with what you can do in missionscript, that is why I consider it the best option for creating custom events. However if you switch to campaign based freeplay, you will no longer have multiplayer be possible.
  9. Freeplay is hardcoded sadly. The "in between" freeplay missions of campaign are also hardcoded. If you want to make a custom freeplay, missionscript logic is the way to go.
  10. TEC accessories and ELS has been done. A second tow truck will come hopefully next year.

  12. Here are some of the most recent model updates. The skinwork on the old Suburban is by Ibarra. The Crown Firecoach is 100% my work except for the optional foam barrels which are reskinned Em4 models. There will be a lot more units added after the planned initial release.
  13. Another one coming. There are plans on having 2 rollback trucks. The other one will be the 6500 GMC from Montana mod. Model is by me; textures by Ibarra; rollback rear end by Phantom.

  16. Big updates. Ibarra helped texture some of the units up which enabled me to start lighting these and making them functional ingame. Many vehicles still lack some ELS models and equipment such as the foam carrier and tiller. More vehicles incoming to this set. Thankfully there's only a few left before I feel like this can be released in beta. I am looking for somebody to do the emergency lighting on these vehicles. I would like to have one guy on FD/EMS, one on PD and another one on TEC just to have as many community members helping out with this. Which one are you most excited for?

  19. I think these cars could be reworked to high quality models. Don't give me ideas now...
  20. 2 more vehicles added to the non playable roster. You might find one of them familiar.... A replacement for the vanilla LA rollback truck has also been created. Models by me, textures by Ibarra.
  21. For a long time, I said "no" to a 90s civil car pack for this project. However, I was able to find another person to do textures for me. This has allowed me to crank out a lot of content in a short period of time. Check them out. Some assets are still unfinished but I can say that most of what you see will be making it into the mod or be released separately at some time. All models by me. Skins by me, Yankee43 and Ibarra.
  22. The base model is done. This is GMC Vandura and I plan on setting it up for LASD as a transport van. I also have a Chevy version that I could turn into an older LAFD ambulance but it will probably not appear in the preliminary release of this submod.
  23. There might be a solution in the U folder. There's an xml file that stores the positions of windows and you could reset it. I can no longer remember which file it is, I will try to test something for you when I can.

  25. Thank you for the links. I have found this from LA County lifeguard. I think I'm going with this or an LA City/County utility truck with similar setup.
