  1. They look great. A lot more lively looking and the lane marks get the NY feel. Asphalt looks smooth and has better contouring. Map overall looks less gloomy.
  2. No. Its a "kind" of .dds .dds is the file extension.
  3. I dont know if GIMP allows you to save in that format. Give it a try.
  4. Is this for Em5? Use DDS Converter to convert them to another format. Any will do as long as you can see everything in the whole texture. If you're using paint.net, save it as X8R8G8B8 .dds. It should show up. Then save the final texture as DXT3 because Em4 does not support X8R8G8B8.
  5. SWAT Heavy Rescue model + template. Waiting for skin and lights. Original model(s) by LA Mod team, cab and rear heavilly heavilly edited by me. Some more previews of finished units
  6. I like your films so I'll help you out. They are in: Emergency 4\Data\Textures. There are 4 .dds files. They are called selector_m1, 2, 3 and 4 DO NOT DELETE THEM. Instead edit them to be completely transparent. Some hints for your LA series. I have some (a lot) of LA themed vehicles available for download. Get you and your leader to group PM me for additional details.
  7. Its apparently a rotating camera. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:LAPD_SWAT_Rescue_vehicle_front.jpg Another group pic
  8. The author of the model was never made clear actually. The fact that it has 26k polygons and a lot of defects lends me to believe it is converted (rather poorly) from GTAIV. A car mod specifically, like this:
  9. The F350 and Suburban are not made by me. F350 is by Nnico, the Suburban is taken from the Montana mod battalion chief. The rear ladder part is made from the LA Mod ladder truck. Bama only installed it into his mod, he is not the author of that. LA mod team is.
  10. I never said I'd make those. Its all ideas. If you have that McCormick skin, PM me. When I get the templates on them finished, I'm sending them your way. Thnaks for everything. BEAR template is done.
  11. Keep an eye on the second post of this thread. I'll be posting patches and bugfixes soon. Yeap. It is what it looks like. Something that Montana and all mods should have.
  12. Awesome work bro. Let's take our time with this and get everything right shall we?
  13. Probably not. Its a fictional unit. The problem now is that the ladder truck is the only way to access multi story buildings. Maybe LA County FD have similar ladder trucks?
  14. You haven't updated to patch 1.3 Find the patch yourself and download it. LA Mod's readme explicitly stated to upgrade to 1.3 Hoppah won't help you. He dislikes being asked for help.
  15. Hoppah's stuff has been free to reskin since 2012 as long as you credit him and MikeyPI. Your post sounds ambitious and like the many that never got off the ground or too far. This is the only way you can spare yourself the same fate. I will not help you more than making this post. Your primary police vehicle is this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/navymailman/3787412558/in/photostream/ Make use of Nnico's Ford CVPI model, then reskin it into the department's colors and decals It uses an MX7000 lightbar which is already available in LA mod. All you need to do is reskin it. The rambar and spotlights you can take from bama's equipment pack. The circle thingies you'll have to model yourself Your fire engine is this: You can use the Pierce Engine from my firetruck pack then add the bumper from LA mod engines The middle and rear sections can be taken from the Montana mod fire engine model, specifically Engine 1 or 2. Lightbar is a Whelen Freedom which I have made. You can use that You would then need to reskin it This other fire engine This is the exact same engine as in the Montana mod, specifically Engine 1 I think. You can take it wholesale and reskin it. Your ambulance: It is a Freightliner M2. I made something similar for my civil car pack. You can use the cab For the rear box, use the box from the LAFD Large Rescue ambulance or the Montana mod GMC ambulance The LED rectangles in the front can be modelled by you
  16. Nice and ambitious speech, but what modding skills do you have to show for? Nobody here has the time to teach you the basics of modding. None of us here want to get endless PM's asking help either. You need to learn those yourself. This would be a good place to start: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/tutorials/category/1-english/
  17. Leave them. If you want realistic army/armed forces units, play the US Army mod by Hoppah.
  18. So about a year ago, I posted a pic similar to this Thanks to all the people who've helped me since then. Showing off the newest lightbar I've done, a Whelen Liberty with accurate CHP configuration. I'm probably gonna do this because those models need to be updated quite a bit.
  19. You could try installing the coronas directly to your main Em4 folder. BE SURE TO BACK UP THE ORIGINAL ONES. In my opinion, you could have delayed the release for a day or two while you fixed the bugs.
  20. You'd need to make the collision box of the vehicles smaller. You can do this in the editor by going to the physics editor. Won't explain further than this. Another thing would be to give the parking space more distance between vehicles and that fence.
  21. I don't understand that language either but from what I can tell, this is how this script (and most parking scripts) work:
