Thanks bud. Ready to go? How about the fact that you needed me to clean up a lot of your things, and I still have a copy of whats not working in your mod. The community doesnt care about you bud. Its just mods and mods and mods for them. And thanks, I'm glad that I have another fan that believes I shouldn't be here. Fact is, I could hardly care what you or anyone else thinks. None of your words or actions have any bearing on what I do in Em4 and with my life. -

That was an idea, not an actual signing. And I could hardly care about my image right now. Your submod came to a halt because you dont know how to model any new units, you rely too heavilly on skins, and can't script or get most things done without my help. Me not giving my vehicles is just a petty excuse to say that its suddenly my fault you're not willing to invest time and effort into making your own mod. This kind of situation is really like the Mentor incident. -

Answer is no. This pack is forever sealed in my HDD. I didnt explicitly give permission. I said that if I felt generous, I'd do it. Still, as the author of all this content, I have the right to revoke permision at any time as stated my the moderators. -

I'd like to say that you got pretty close. I'd just make the greyish part into a more white color. Would need some antennas too along with spotlights. The rambar could also be downsized. A slicktop version would also be nice. Your Undercover lights look alright for the most part. Here's a little something I created back in the old days of 2011. This is a custom NFS mod that nobody has. I'd prefer you do a Tahoe as a stand-in for the Rhino SUV and an Explorer for the light Rhino SUV. Another personal unreleased mod for NFSMW. This is what I'd go for when doing the State Police Vehicle. For the State Police Vehicle, I don't think an Impala would be a good fit. I'd suggest sourcing an actual GTO model for that, or using a Dodge Charger as a substitute. It seems weird having a slower car for the State cars. Rockport city is quite endearing to me because it was one of the first games I learned to play and eventually mod.

It does cause some animation isses that the person doesnt "walk" or "run" as if he or she is carrying something. Its a trade-off because the game doesnt change animations for the PutObjectInRightHand() function. You'll have to create 3 versions of the bag, one for idle position, one for running, and one for healing. You would then need to modify the MoveTo script to change the idle or healing model into the running model. You need 3 versions because the medic bag would need to have a different set of axis for different animations. See my Montana mod taser script, and the LA Mod MP5/M4a1 scripts. Note that there are 2 model variants for each gun.

Sorry. Its hardcoded. Em4 has a specific set of equipment that cannot be added or removed. If only someone could get into the source code and change all of that.

Copyright and Intellectual Property Compliance Regulations
itchboy replied to Newfoundking's topic in News & Announcement
So will existing mods have to be readujsted to fit into these new rules? And how will it be enforced if that is so? -
There is no more community to give back to. Just 9 or 10 people who still have decency and respect for each other. You're talking about playing by the rules? NFK's post says you have about a dozen models that are in question. Not just one. Wasn't that the main argument that you used to villify the people who have done nothing wrong and played by the rules? Funny isn't it. MikeyPI, Turbosquid, and some GTA modders would be so proud wouldnt they? What is there to reconsider when your actions of creating a splinter website and rallying up your 'fans' have caused a great divide to the Em4 English Community, thousands of times more than any cancelled project could. If this community wants to heal, the majority need to understand, stealing models aint cool, you must respect the content author's wishes, crediting is the most basic step in using other people's things, and that reskin mods will be the end of this game. They also need ot understand that mods don't drop out of the sky and that they are not entitled to have a mod. The only way the community can go back to normal is if you own up to your mistakes and call off your keyboard hit-squad that badmouths this site and more importantly, if you would set an example to your followers that content should be respected, not descrated like what you did with your mods. Playing the victim and crying rape just vilifies the legitamate modders (that you apparently care so much about) and makes it seem like you are the only one who can be trusted. Truth is, this "community" that you say is so great and awesome doesn't really care. They only want mods, no matter what the quality, or shape or form. They don't care about me, you or anyone really as long as the .v3o's and .e4p's keep coming. Just something to consider, it'll probably not see much of an impact but if this community wants to heal it should take steps from its members to help return to normal. All just my opinion many might disagree and I understand that, food for thought. Nope. And there aint nothing that anyone can do to change my mind.

Did you name the animations properly? Did you name them like the original RW in Em4? -

http://forum.emergency-planet.com/tutorials/article/2-animating-3d-models/ This tutorial should cover the basics. All you need is the "frames" in between the spotlight being down and up. Some examples from my own works: -
I suggest sending it to trustworthy people to improve and bugfix em. Then do a public giveaway if you want.

Yeah. He should really credit the game company responsible for making the originals. Though I could immediately tell it was from 18Wos due to the apparent high poly nature of the trailer. I would have done this, but alas, people hate me now so they're no longer worthy of my content. /s Srsly though, if people would respect mod author's wishes and credit properly (and it goes without saying not stealing models) 90% of the site's problems would go away.
