Awesome thanks, Only problem I am running into is when i import floor, it says could not load texture. the file is freeplay.tga it has the edits done to it, am i missing a step?

Okay, Makes sense open it up in gimp/photoshop what ever .. then edit it how I want, then go into EM4 editor? and import it into textures or floor i guess ?

This is what I am looking at freeplay.eft freeplay.dds freeplaymap.eft (TGA file) freeplay.e4m the .dds is the minimap which one of these would be the map texture eft? and if so how can you edit it/ what does it need to be converted to? Sorry if i am sounding like a total dumb @$$.

LIGHTS: Left click to put the corona in the spot you clicked.. Middle mouse/Wheel Rotates which ever way you move the mouse I.E Left to right/up & down. Mouse wheel: zooms in and out. Children/Obj's on Vehicles: Alt and Left click to increase the height or move object UP as well as DOWN Rotate with Middle Mouse wheel/button Similar to lights Dont post on existing topics like this.. not cool bro, please make your own topic and we are all happy to help.

Hey blackout im having trouble understanding how to edit the EFT, what did you convert it to first? then im assuming you converted it back? Also is the EFT what I want to convert I.E add names to roads ? or is it something else? Thanks, K

For the portraits do i need to copy and paste over them with the image I want or is there a different way then changing the .dds on every vehicle?

In the Lang Folder under Portraits? anywhere else? Thanks Iv figured it out, thanks for your help any idea about changing portrait pictures? just 1 from the internet and copying and pasting over existing or is there a special way to do it?

Hi guys, iv looked everywhere for something related to this topic but no luck, I want to change the name that appears in game when you go to spawn a unit on the map ( the portraits) ... for example: BLS Ambulance- Id want it to say .. BCAS Ambulance. Where do I go to change this? unit folder? seems like there is more to it then just that also do i need to change the prototype name? and if so is there anything extra i need to do besides changing it in editor. Thanks K

It gets confusing with 2 stations but do you need to also get the LAfirestation.script and the LAfirestationstart.script? As in change both or just the LAfirestationstart.script? -
Hi guys, please tell me if this is already a topic or just move it to one, Id like to know how to Change the staff that spawn in a vehicle at the start of game/ while they are in station. Thanks K P.S I have changed the Unit.xml file and changed the Unit ID to the personnel I want but this does not change in game, what do i need to do? again thanks.

Alot of that is greek to me but I will do the best I can with it, thanks for the tips though, 1, Ill start by putting the station in editor and creating some virutal objects 2, ill go into my scripts and copy and past a script but then edit the VO, Prototype name, and those kinds of things ( Correct way to do it)??

I'm New to adding parking spaces/Making them This is what I want to do: 1,use a Station lets say Fire station 2 or 3 and have it staffed with some ambulances... what do i need to do step by step? 2,I dont care about making the gates move up and down at this point just want to have 2 ambulances lets say staffed from the start Thanks for all your help guys really appreciated.

I understand most of what the above comments said, My only issue is that I have edited the units in a modification and seeing as the new units are bigger they do not park the same way/ wont return to station. Let me know what I need to do, also im assuming to say have a FD chief park on the side of the road where would i go to do that? EM4 editor and into map or somewhere in the mod file? Thanks. K
