Help!Create new freeplay map has no events.
Firequi replied to China-long's topic in Mission Related Support
In case it hasn't been solved yet, did you set the map boundaries? Once had a similar issue with a custom freeplay map and setting the boundaries solved the issue. It can be found under map properties. -

Dutch fire engine equipment that is can be found on the engines. This is a fictive set up. The model is animated. Ingame it looks like this. The attached script is by Florian Ko 12/2 and can be used to get the animation working ingame. For this you need to provide your engine V3O file with the animation names "Arbo_Down" and "Arbo_Up". Ladders on the model were made by Chidea. -

The Flashlight and LED version of the Vista lightbar that could be found on Dutch police squads from the mid 90s until the early 2010s. Please note that VW Touran on the screenshot of the LED bar was made by David and Stormi and is not included in the download. It was only used for showcase purposes. -

The VW T3 made by littleAngel, David with a Dutch Rijkspolitie skin. The Rijkspolitie was disbanded in the early 90s when police forces were reformed in the Netherlands. In the set included are the vehicle made by littleAngel & David and the correct skin and lightbar. Rules of littleAngel, David apply for the T3. For the lightbar my rules (Firequi) apply. -

Accidentally overwrote my map on the editor
Firequi replied to Maccers3519's topic in Modding Related Support
You could try to load the autosave file and see if you are lucky and find a copy in that, otherwise I'm afraid it's sadly lost... -
Looks really great, keep up the good work and this high quality!

Anyone know where I can find these pre-built EM4 maps?
Firequi replied to ThinBlueLineKY4's topic in Modding Related Support
You most probably have found the maps already, but for the sake of good order. The standard maps can be loaded in the editor. That works for any mod. Just press F2 or the "terrain" menu under the edit tab and click on load map. Just be careful, Emergency always ask if you want to load the current map first, even if this is the standard opening template and you didn't do anything. -
GARDA MOD and other emergency services mod (Dublin Ireland)
Firequi replied to caolan753's topic in Conceptual Modifications
It would help if you could tell a bit more about your plan. What is your concept, do you already have screenshots? If you tell and show, it is easier for people to get interested. -
What do you struggle with the most?

For the aligning of the wheels I use a very easy method. Always start at the front of the model! First you add one wheel and make the right height adjustments. Simply play with alt and dragging and checking by pressing "ok" a view times in order to get the right height. Then instead of adding a complete new wheel, just copy the one that is already on the vehicle. Make sure to check the snap angles box, that way you can ensure yourself that the wheels are completly straight when adjusting them for the other side of the model. Then you turn the camera so that you are facing the downside of the model and you drag the wheel to its right position. Once you've done that, simply copy the two front wheels and drag them to the back and voila, your model has well allinged wheels. You know, you can avoid the problem of childs that don't bounce by implementing them as doors as well. Just make sure to add "_door" to the child name when you create the prototype. Only childs dat are put on the model in the "edit childs" screen (the screen within the edit screen) won't bounce along with the vehicle. -

DAF MB 200 A bus as it could be found during the 70s/80s/90s in the Dutch public transport. You can use it to change your civil traffic into an old school one! The bus is scaled on person size, to scale it back I advise to use a scaling value of +/- .8 or .75, but this is a bit of a personal taste issue. A prototype with the complete lights for the bus has been included. The model still needs to be put into the editor by yourself, which requires some modding knowledge. To get it actually driving on your map, add it to your spawn points or put it on a path that has been laid out as a circle. Watch the readme and have fun with it! -
