Wouldn't the Department of Transportation (DOT) be a better name for technical services? They handle all the street lamps and roadways whereas Con Ed is an electric company..

Did you have a popcorn fight? When I used to go to the movies me and my buddies were total A holes in there. Hitting on chicks when their BF's were gone, then Mike would beat them up when they came back, then we'd throw stuff and yell... Those were fun times. LOL. We never DID get booted from the movies... Anyhow, a little less stupid comedy and a little more story would make it better. 3.5/5.

Now that hurts. It really hurts... Now where was I? Oh yeah. Stupid people. Well, I would tell you some of my old stories but they're more illegal and ridden with profanity, so, let me think for a second... So I'm over by Cabrini-Green (Chicago Housing Projects) and I'm with my buddy when this ghetto comes up on this bike. So he's yelling at Rick (My buddy) to throw down the fork, so my buddy, being the awesome guy he is, throws this plastic fork he was eating with out the window onto the floor. Then the ghetto gets mad. He starts yelling and then he goes to pull a gun, he's this mad. So I peel out at the light and I guess everyone must have heard us because as soon as we peeled out every ghetto on this block starts throwing bottles and bricks and anything at my car. Then this little AMC Gremlin packed with about 10 ghettos pulls behind us and starts following us down the block, so we get to this light and I say screw this, so I whip my car into reverse and slam into this guy's car, then I drive away and this little gremlin is smoking with break fluid everywhere. Man I had some fun back then... To think I'm a cop now... The moral of the story is that everybody is stupid in some way or another I guess.

I noticed a post earlier about a possible accident without injury. Now, if you remember the LA mod mission with the airport explosion, across the street there are two pilots whom appear to be arguing. Would it be possible to have a small accident with no injuries but rather two people arguing whom must either be talked to by or arrested by police? And maybe if you don't stop them fast enough a possible fight may commence? It may be impossible but I thought I might as well ask. Also, if someone has already suggested this then I am sorry for disturbing your time. Anyway, I love what you guys do and I must congratulate you guys on this success.

I'm kind of weird about it. First I fully staff the stations, then I send an FBI command center and 2 FBI suv's to the parking lot in the south west corner of the map near the protest event. I set up an FBI station, along with a foam tender and EMS 1. Then I send a crane and an equipment truck with 2 divers to the docks, and a small fire dept. rescue boat to the docks. I also send out at least 3 patrols and 3 ambulances. After making more credits back I will send FBI agents to various points in the city through my FBI command center, such as 4 agents in the bank and such in case of an incident. Then I sent some forest fire trucks to the east of the map and I expand the FBI command area to cover the street to the east. I block off the roads and sidewalks from the public and I order various units to go there. Mostly units that can't patrol or anything. And in a fire I will send two foam tenders, a brush truck, and an aerial ladder. Medical emergency, I will send either an ALS ambulance or a BLS with a FF/PM that I put in through the station's controls, thus "cheating" a bit, but also gaining ALS resources as well. And any sort of Police incident I usually send either the nearest unit or I'll send a NG Humvee and an ambulance. But that's only when I play for kicks, which is almost every time. I'll leave my realistic game play for a later time.

Well did you turn the truck's water cannon on? This may be part of the problem, although you can always try sending multiple officers to get any looters that aren't too near the main group and continue that while the trucks hold the others at bay. Just remember that after a while the water will injure the looters (As it has happened to me.). Otherwise you can always just send in a SWAT team and shoot them all down, but it effects your rating so I would just try the first one. And yes, you can see the rioters beforehand. They're all about a block west of the store they attack, so you can set up a way to nab some of them there if you want. I hope this helps. It worked for me at least.
