It's finally here! Yes, after sitting an eternity on my hard-drive (I was making improvements too!) I've released the latest update to the mod that started it all. The release of "E4LM: LA 1.0" is the end of the "Pack" system and adds the Los Angeles Mod along with the New York City Mod to the formal update system. - This version has been bug tested for a long time but I may have missed some things. If you find any bugs, report them here! - For the first time, E4LM: LA is available on the download section! Get it here: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?/files/file/547-e4lm-la/ now! Description of changes: - Revamped lighting system for halogen lights - New light type for many units (LAPD) - Bugs fixed on many units - Even more realistic lighting set ups - More units supported - Colors display better on vehicles Updates will be released as needed and will update as: 1.0.1 and 1.1 styles. ( ?.1 = updates, ?.?.1 = bug fixes ) Thank you for continuing support of the E4LM series of modifications! Download now! Video:

All you have to do is call more than 5 patrol vehicles. The game spawns all the vehicles in order. ex. Patrol, Highway, Undercover, etc.
-
That's a beautiful Chevy there!
-
Just a reminder, you will be able to have the the NPS car in the game, but it will be a separate download. So, for those you wishing to get the Park Service unit, don't fret.
-
It depends on the vehicle and I can't say what will or won't work. It should work, but I don't know your exact circumstances.
-
If you don't have it, change your game specs so that your camera can angle farther and zoom out more and less. P.S. Every station says on it what units go inside, just look at the front facade.
-
(Just so you don't get confused in the future: all changes made in the editor are instant and you don't need to press "Save" ever. So be careful! )

Try searching for these topic here on the site. Installation instructions should be in their respective threads. Often, mods can be installed buy using an EM4Mod file. (Also, if I'm not mistaken, there's already a few Lamborghinis in EM4 or, if not, the LA Mod adds a few.)
-
Make sure you put the Supervisor files in the proper root game folder, NOT in any mod's folders.
-
Make sure that, upon modifying the model file, you have (a) skin(s) selected to be used on the vehicle. Also, make sure the vehicle is UV Mapped.
-
Not really. You'll only get if you get the full game. I only say this due to the fact that my friend bought the game, didn't get the mod-installer and, upon trying to send it to him, it wouldn't work. It may work for you, but he never got it to work.

Those are "polygons", which are shapes with color inside them. They're used to make surfaces light up along with the light corona. To remove them: 1. Edit your car's lights. 2. Select the light. 3. Use the check circle on the right side to switch the edit mode to "polygon". 4. Select a polygon. 5. Delete it or move it. You can also add them in much the same way. Hope this helps!

Is it wrong if I can't see EM2013 or EM5?

Don't be discouraged by EmergencyFan's news, guys! Progress is always being made whether we show it or not! I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised to see what we've done in a few short days! Stay tuned!

They shouldn't be doing that. All the files I provide are not locked or encoded in any way. Make sure you haven't modified your files in any way that may impact installation. Your animations may be messed up, or there may be a bug in your model file or prototype file. I'll be looking into this. In the meantime, it shouldn't be a noticeable issue.Thank you both for your concerns.

I'm not one to celebrate birthdays but this is definitely an impressive milestone worth congratulating. Thanks to Stan and the entire administration. Here's to many more great years.

No modding for EM2013, plus, Hoppah's not sure if he's returning to modding. Maybe he'll port the LA Mod to EM5.
-
He's hoping things straighten out soon.

After researching into the issue, I've discovered there's no way around this. I'll set up an alternate link for those who don't want to sign up. 4Shared has changed since I started using them, and was unaware they forced an account to be used. I apologize for any inconveniences.Link to alternate download: http://www.filehosti..._NYC_v1.4.3.rar (You'll have to put in an email address, but that's it. I honestly couldn't find a better host. If you have one, which is free and requires no account, send it my way.)
