I believe the MCA have three of those contracted out, one was on the programme "Sea Patrol UK" as part of the team searching for an object spotted in the water outside of Dover. This exact one the photo is of had a page written about it in the last NUMAST (Merchant Navy Union Paper) and it wasn't until I was reading that I noticed it had water cannons on top of it! Okay just finished modeling the Hovercraft, won't get to UVMap and skin it until Saturday though. Will put screen shots up after the weekend like usual.

Well its just maths setting up lights, so you just got to make a table of the timings you want for each one, then carefully follow it when setting it up in the editor. Sadly I know nothing about the real lights on vehicles, so I just make ones I think look good for my mod, oops! I mean, I gather there patterns from them driving past me but nothing more.

Just like in Faces of War or Heroes of World War II game, where you can even get your men in a tractor instead of a tank/car and then change from RTS to third person and drive it, hehe. I'm sure they will make another emergency if they haven't got jobs with a bigger gaming company. Too popular a niche I would guess.

Good stuff, yeah I personnaly wouldn't worry about videos until you get a lot of stuff in the game bud. Good ones are too time consuming, when you could be modding hehe.
-
Thanks guys, I've started on the hovercraft today!
-
The ladders on the engine look really good on the in game camera, nice one
-
They appear to have the same number plate. (You won't notice in game, it'll be too small!) Hehe. Very nice!

Its just a nice little topic in the general forum section. I think my mod has a fair few fans, NYC has a large amount, I personnelly am a fan of the London mod and a few mods look very promising, the pointhere is positive thinking, support, and a incredibly active modding community for such a indie game. I am looking forward to a english release of the Tokyo mod btw. hehe.

PMed you about the script buddy.
-
This mod looks very good so far, you still need hope coding, is it something specific mate? I'd add the fact you need help scripting in your forum signiture if its still true.
-
Yeah defenetly looks like you haven't UV Mapped, you've just tried adding a skin, as a material and not mapped the material yet, got a screenshot of it in Zmodeler?
-
Stop using Windows 7, did you learn nothing from XP and Vista, hehe. If you play games you want to wait a full year after the full release of a windows OS before you start using it without problems.

Undoubtably Hoppahs LA mod is the favourite, and without hoppahs pioneering mod for EM4 many other mods would not be so good, or even got completed.
-
I love all your models, really good detail on them. The Fire Engine is very nice indeed. Keep up the good work lads. If your mod exsisted before I started mine, I would of joined and help you haha!

Thats something I've been wondering myself hehe. The only way I see of coding it so far isn't exactly smooth, it would have to have a land and sea mode, only going between the two by a press of a button. I think initially will put it in game as a sea vehicle whilst I tinker with the code.

First to answer a couple of questions Private R Clark - Trying to get the boats in as quick as possible, obviously they are more detailed then the vehicles, so taking a bit longer, festival is dealing with the RNLI boats, we also plan to put in the RNLI Hovercraft. I've done the coding for the boats already, which is good news and next weekend I plan on making a crack at the MCA Contracted tug (Anglian Monarch). Officerrule - Yes I have been trying to put in a good ladder, however to make a ladder any different to the standard one is proving to be very difficult, one of the dutch mods looks like they have figured it out how to do the ladder stand type you put in the photo, however they aren't replying to my PM, maybe its a language barrier. Now for the updates! - Fire Water Bowser - Incident Response Unit IRU (Who ever in the fire brigade came up with that silly name needs a slap) - Decontamination Tent which unloads from the IRU - Firemen now can don Hazard Environment suites from the IRU Sorry about the lack of photos of boats, we are working on them!

If someone is actually wanting to code some new ideas, I have a couple of real good ones I;m keane to get in my mod, PM me please.

Feel free to check out the webpage I've been sketching up. http://www.wix.com/Dosedmonkey/Coastal-Rescue

Harriers are only used by the US Marines, and the newer versions by the UK Combined Air Arms corps, which is part Royal Navy Fleet Air Arms and part Royal Air Force personnel. My mate is an RAF engineer on the harriers, been to Afghan on three tours now. It could be used for reconnaissance, as the British Harriers have the new "Sniper Cam". Otherwise its only really weaponry.

Yeah, one of the sirens seem to fail because it was far too high pitch for em4 software, so I reduced the pitch, but by the time it worked, it sounded nothing like the real siren lol. The others are great thanks, I edited them so they loop perfectly. Once the boats are in game, will put a video up online.

Nice beemer.
-
So what is new in this screenshot? - New Fire Engine - CO19 Officers - Riot Police - Riot Shields - On Scene Fire Commander - All UK Siren sounds in game I can also tell you good progress on the Severn and Altantic lifeboats is taking place.
-
Cool! Don't worry, I took screenies before lightbars twice by accident so far, lol!
-
Thats sweet, just one thing, doesn't the merc ambulance have a built in light bar on the front of the roof. Very nice model though.
