The search function is becoming crap. You have to sift through dozens upon dozens of topics that having nothing to do with what you want... None the less I tried and I was unable to find the EMS dodge charger. I seem to only have parts of it in my prototypes folder. I'm not sure where to get it from as the search function is giving me topics talking about it, but not having a download link for it... So could someone please post it or at least point me in the right direction to download it? Is it contained within another complete mod? Or is it a standalone product? Thanks. =D

Could just put it as a fancy redirect... In theory, could we not reskin the equipment trailer set up some fancy lights and and put the redirect script on it?

So really no new features will be unraveled with it. It will simply be cosmetic changes?

Can I ask what will be the use of this? What exactly is it going to bring to the game that is not already there? In terms of the re-skinned vehicles... To what degree have you changed them? Do they provide anything new to the game? I don't really think he's going to be too inclined to allow you to just release a skin.

Can I ask what this has to do with alterations? Are you going to turn this into some sort of mod? Or is this a general discussion thread? I'm not really sure where you're heading with this...

Did you make sure to click "ok" on every screen? It's best to click ok until you get to the main editor window as sometimes it won't save if you switch between vehicles. Then delete the vehicle off the map and re-add it to see if the lights took affect.

const= Constant ( maybe? I'm not 100% sure ) char= Character OBJ= Object DUMMY= Dummy ( Like a fake object ) VO= Virtual Object fs= Fire Station ( I might be wrong on this one ) Vcmd= Vehicle Command ( Much like PCMD with means Person Command ) Hope this helps.

It's been approved but it's not currently finished. I think he said he had a couple more trucks to finish up. =D Keep checking back. He should have it up and posted in the next few days.

I fail to understand how this is not on topic in this section. He's asking if a particular sub mod could be used. He COULD have posted in the SG section, but none-the-less he posted in a general area that is correct. Don't be criticizing someone for getting close and don't sit there and tell him it's the wrong section without pointing to a general right area. If you're going to insult and not help you're comment is surely not needed. Seeing as how there is not v2 yet, you could have simply answered the guys question properly and then stated that a new version was coming out. A logical answer would have been "Yes, but there might be some problems. You may want to wait till the new version, but feel free to try the current version on-top of Hoppah's latest." Now was a simple explanation that hard?

And who has the time to read through 30 something posts to find that one reply. The unmarked ones are far from realistic and I've gone as far as to modify them myself in a few ways to fit my liking. - We're not criticizing your work negatively, we're simply stating that there are a few flaws in the idea of reality that your mod implies. - I do how ever love the lighting on the Fire Trucks and Ambulances, it's the police ones that I have issues with. ( Too much white and such to the point where you're zoomed out the blue and red is not noticeable at all. ). But I'll head back to giving Occram support as I think if I replace his lights with the lights from PRL that I'm not fond of... combined will create and epic light combo!

Yeah. Their unmarked cars ( which I really enjoy unmarked vehicles ) seem really weird. Lights are like... everywhere. Place that I can't seem to find a reason to put a light.

Our local Red Cross ( I'm in East Texas ) has an ambulance that says Disaster Recovery Unit or something along those lines. I have no clue what it does, but I've never seen it move/being used. So I'd assume it CAN transport a patient though in practice I don't think it does. However, I'd not mark out it having been deployed during Katrina. We're VERY close to Lousiana. Coincidentally, it's right next door to a mini-hospital.

Most if not all 1.9 will work with 2.01 they're just not "optimized" for 2.01. It's simply about having 100% capability. Download one, try it and see if you run into any problems. I've used things like AUS, but I always modify my LA mod on my own doing small changes to it that I like...

You know... We could add into the random rotation for when you pull over a vehicle something like "Fined for Excessive Parking Violations"... but I'm not really sure if that's logical.

Some of these I can't seem them as being a major upgrade. I'd like more SUV's, how ever I don't see the firetruck as being something new to the game. Also on the WestCoast one... How is it different than the vintage?

w00ds has a few of the jumpers in him map and I've noticed it's named something like "person --> Window --> something else". But if you know how to make the car escape do let me know...

That would be very nice. Took me a while to get how the hostage one worked. The problem though some events are a bit more confusing. Sometimes I don't notice that I need a virtual object or have to have something named a specific way. :/

I really do like Agusta Westlands and at first I figured it would be pointless, but to have a more precise location to where water is dropped because a lot of times the plane will fly over the target an if it's in a specific location it will not even drop the water. :/ And if you happen to send it to the wrong location you're kind of screwed, this could bring potential like allowing it to refill at any water on the map. However, this will more than likely require lots of scripting and I won't hope for anything. :/

I need to a bit of help adding specific events to the map. I'm using one of w00d's and I've noticed there are no hit and runs nor are there any broken traffic lights. So two quick questions... How do I add in a hit and run? I do know that I would need to add the person, but is the vehicle a specific spawn or is it a random one? What do I need to name these? Are they similar to the wrecks like ccar and such? I am aware of how to add an escape path to follow, but is there anything else? Next, what needs to be done to make the traffic lights malfunction? Thanks! Edit: Ok... A third... How would I go about adding a "picket" type thing... The unauthorized demonstration?

Again, as said, no if they're reskins. Of course I need to re-read through everything to see if they're custom models or re-skins. In theory, if they're custom models he could re-lease them as a "car packaged" and people could easily add them to LA-Mod on their own. :/ Which would be lovely but again that depends on the first statement above. Ah, well... Being from East Texas, I'd love to see more progress with this mod.
