Very nice repaints, indeed. May I inquire on where you found those base models? I can't recall seeing such detailed cars in EM4.

To be more precise, it's 495 USD. There is the possibility of using a free trial, but it only lets you use the program for 8 hours, which anyone will tell you is not much when making a mod.

You forgot to mention that to export models to any other format than Google proprietary formats, which are useless except to share models with other SketchUp users or to put into Google Earth, you need SketchUp Pro, which costs around 500-600$ last time I checked. But yeah, your post pretty much sums up my opinion of SketchUp... Anyway, since new models have been shown, I will be moving this topic again to Mods. However, I hope to see some ingames/in-editor in the near future, as SketchUp models often unfortunately remain nothing but SketchUp snapshots.

Ditto. You should stop asking left and right to use other people's work and start focusing on making new models already. I suggest you read this topic. Siren sounds and mission ideas should be very low priorities when starting a mod.

Let me clarify this... Hoppah will allow you to use some of his models as long as your mod is not entirely made of repaints of LA mod units. That means you have to put your own modeling work in, too. MOSTLY your own work. However, the only work I've seen being done on this mod so far are so-called "concept" skins that are clearly LA mod repaints (What's the use of making those instead of working on actual release material? I have no idea...), as well as a single police car that may or may not be is a repaint of one of Hoppah's existing cruisers. Therefore, for the time being, I'm moving this topic to the Submod forum, and it will be considered a PERSONAL SUBMOD until some original material is posted.

Just for the record... this has to be the most awesome self-introduction topic ever. Even if there had been no emoticon abuse, asking of release dates or annoying "gimme this, do that" attitude, it'd still be in the wrong forum. Cheers, little fella.
