Do you mean the Sweep/Scan tones on the Federal Signal Unitrol series sirens? I am not 100% sure but there might be a Californian regulation the restricts the usage of these tones

I was watching videos, thats how I came up with the sirens that I posted above. Eg. I was watching a video of multiple LASD units responding. There were mainly Smart Sirens but there was a MS4000 in with them aswell or a pursuit with CHP and LAPD, CHP had their own PA500's and one had a MS4000 while the LAPD had a Touchmaster. Even if they were slightly older or newer, there are still multiple sirens that are used there and even though they may not be installing new sirens into the vehicles at that moment, there will still be existing ones on the street.

I managed to finally download it today http://aspirator.web-desk.de/files/WinterbergUpdater.exe This will download and install it. It is in German though you just have to follow the arrows. It is not much different to any other installer

I was thinking about creating a small siren submod, with more realistic sirens for mainly the police. I will do some research into what sirens that they use Some features I was thinking of are Federal Signal PA500 (BB100) for CHP Random siren on LAPD & LASD cruisers (Either Unitrol 80K, Touchmaster Delta, MS4000 or SmartSiren) Airhorns when coming up to traffic (Although it will be the same airhorn for vehicles if I include this Rumblers (If used by any departments) Every time I use a police vehicle I am constantly noticing that the CHP doesn't have the right siren, and all the cars have the same siren and it being a MS4000 over a Unitrol or SS. If anyone has anymore information about what they use then please let me know here

You could use Any Video Converter and it will convert it that way, or you could use Audacity and record from the stereo mix (Windows)

The pass alarm would be annoying, and wouldn't really work in EM4 and wouldn't be needed because the only way they can be injured really is shot, blown up or run over. Although the 'officer down' would be cool. If you can do it you could use audio from the 1997 North Hollywood shootout! You will find plenty of them in those scanner recordings. I will try to get E51 to you soon and if you want to you can remove the construction zones because I just find them annoying although they are well done on how they work.

You could add them as an attachment, but you are better off uploading them to a site such as Google Picasa, Photobucket, Imageshack etc. and inserting an image

I think you can copy the LA Mod language files and replace them with the game files then that will work.

It is totally different in missions but in free play I don't use Patrol (Except on Woods map) Police Helecoptors Ladders Battalion Chief (I usually equip them with a paramedic) Standby - I have a prison van ready to be called out to carry prisoners Cones, Flares, Vests In the escort I usually take my time and set up a lot with cones, flares, vests etc. but during freeplay I don't have time to put them all away.

I don't see why you would need a fire station there and if it is for personal use only then you don't have to ask permission

Thanks. The ARFF Panther was scaled quickly just before I took that because it used to be way too small so I will fix it up
