  1. Hmmm. Well. I also had a lot of features like the ones you were naming ^^ Webs is mostly commercial while you can also find smaller 'companies' which are cheaper and have better customer service. Well, anyways that's enough from me ^^
  2. Just out of interest, How the hell did you manage to get a website for 60 $ ^^ I payed like 15 Euro's for mine which was 2 years of domain + host.
  3. I don't believe some of you... Really... I give critics, yes. You all call it disrespect? How low is that. If you don't get critics, you won't make the mod better. Some even call me a hater, for giving critics on things I don't like? Seriously. Think before you post or just shut up. I've never ever seen a good mod that didn't get critics.
  4. Ohw wow. Well here's a little hint: If you create something, you can expect critics. The way you're responding just makes clear how childish you really are. I'm not a hater, I just say the truth from my point of view. @MNbug, Fanboy more. It won't get you anywhere. You obviously didn't play a good mod. Again, if you make a mod or anything else. Expect critics. if you're not up for that, then you have 2 choices: -Don't make anything -Don't publish it.
  5. Ofcourse it's bug free when you remove like everything. The only thing that had to be removed was the huge buildings. The scripts were fine, and only needed some tweaking. V1 was great, but not playable by many because of the huge amount of big buildings. Remove those, tweak scripts and maybe add some more, and the vehicle adjustments and you have a V2. This is not a V2. This is a V0.5 Sorry, Dyson. I appreciate your work, but you kind of destroyed it.
  6. Now that sounds more correct Although I don't intend to buy a new gc for 1 mod, I will wait for the SD version. It just looks awesome ^^ Keep it going, your work is appreciated. If you need a tester for a low end system, just shout. ATI Radeon HD 4850 is pretty low ^^
  7. According to the first post, they say intel cards are the cause. I don't intend to read 323 pages before replying, thank you. And it's just plain bullsh*t that intel is the cause.
  8. Just a little tip: It's not about the brand of graphics cards that causes the CTD. Intel is an average brand for graphics cards whereas ATI and Nvidia rule that district. The best cards of Intel should be able to run the mod. I have an ATI card and I get the CTD. Theres goes your narrowing down It's because of the VGA memory. Gl and thanks for your work.

  14. Good to see that there is still work going on... Tho if you're going to do an other map, don't do the original. That one would be so bored Maybe you could just edit the buildings to have less poly's (Smoothen)
  15. Long time no post. If you're still doing this, I'd like to see a tutorial on creating GUI's. I always get stuck on that part of modding. Mission scripts are hard

  17. You might want to list what programming language the programmer should know. There are a lot. If it's VB / C++, I might help, depending on if I can find time @Gunswat, I don't think that is really important in this stage of development.

  20. Ok, So I have tried that and still got the error. So now I 've tried an other way to accomplish the same. Instead of having the person get out, I just create a person next to the vehicle. It doesn't crash or give errors, thats one thing, but it doesnt create a person either.   21. Who cares what people say if your mod is dead or not. Just work on it and make it right. Take your time for it. Don't rush it because people want a release. That is what you did now and you can see the result. At the opposite, Berlin mod wasn't rushed and worked perfectly. So just take your time with the mod. And yes, I was here a few weeks ago, and I found it real sad that you couldn't cope with the critics and decided to close the topic, if you create a mod, you can expect those critics. Either deal with them like a man or don't make a mod.
  22. I do appreciate their work. I'm just saying that they should not have released this till it was playable. And trust me, I won't play this mod. Because I can't. It crashes every single time.
  23. Not even going to try until there is a bug fix which makes it 'playable' I'll enjoy myself on the Winterberg mod till this is fixed. -EDIT- Rafael, emsman is right.
