  1. <personnel> <unit id="FBI_AGENT"> <defaultcount value="2" /> </unit> <unit id="FBI_AGENT_TAC" /> <unit id="SS_AGENT" /> </personnel>
  2. Addings objects is more like 5% compared to adding 100's of paths, streets, virtual objects, triggers, spawn points and ofcourse, TESTING.
  3. Why do you actually assume this is possible? It's not. You can't create supply hoses, by connecting a hose from a hydrant to a fire engine.
  4. As much as possible, because it totally depends on the amount of layers. A single 8192x8192 image is not a problem until you add dozens of layers for editing. The ground texture for the new map I am creating is almost 500 MB (.psd file) now. I have 3,3 GB RAM and I am still able to make changes to that file without 'lag'. Until I start the Emergency 4 editor (for example) as well... If you don't have ANY modding experience, DO NOT create a new map. It's not just placing objects. Without Photoshop experience you can't even create a nice ground texture for it.
  5. Then you need to look longer than 10 seconds. Button is there.
  6. Not the axis setting how the door needs to open and how many degrees. For example: Y axis, 90 degrees I am not sure but I believe you need to press Enter after entering a value and then press OK in the childs editor (where you add doors). Try that.
  7. *opens manual *closes manualThat one of them is ALS and the other BLS is made up to add variation to the mod.
  8. By spending time on it. It doesn't have to be perfect, but at least try to make it look more round. You know how most tools in Zmod2 work. The only thing you are missing is experience. Just try and make sure you are patient enough. You can't learn it in a couple of hours.
  9. It's an average. It used to be much more. Nobody works an average of 8 hours per day on mods.
  10. On average? 30 mins per day I think. Besides my study I also have a job and I'd like to other things too.
  11. No suggestions until the new map has been finished. That's all I can say. I am NOT going to work on other things now.
  12. At the moment, I am only spending my time on the new freeplay map, so I can't tell you if I will add that or not. Hoppah
  13. If you need scripts from the LA Mod contact me by PM. I can give you a couple of scripts.
  14. Besides some objects and a few new buildings there won't be alot of new models in the first release of the map (also a beta release). I am trying to release this map as soon as possible. Creating new models take a lot of time and are not really necessary now. The map will be improved later by replacing buildings and objects.
  15. The last PM from you was about my .exe installer. Besides that, I have absolutely no idea how you want to realize this. Do you actually have any experience with setting up custom window stuff in .xml files? And who are 'we'?

Buy the registered version to export to .v3o or ask someone else to export your model to .v3o.
  17. Player 1 (host) Player 2 Player 3 Player 4 Who gets what in which spot of the fire station. It's not smaller. It is the same size as any other freeplay map. That means a ground texture of 8192 by 8192 pixels. There are 2 main roads and the LA river and bridge are large and also take up a good part of the map. To save time on creating the texture I am adding larger buildings mostly.
  18. Progress. A screenshot I took in Photoshop of the ground texture. Most area's where you see concrete are done, so the grassy area's are still empty:
  19. It's the BLS ambulance. It looks like the ALS ambulance because you see a small part of the red gate.
  20. Small update. The replacement for fire station 2: Hoppah
  21. Haha, now I see what you mean. I was thinking in game terms not in flesh and blood. No harm done I hope.
