  1. in Object mode go to Modify -> Scale. Hold CTRL and click on the model. You will see a window with something like: X: 100% Y: 100% Z: 100% Decrease the values to make the model smaller. Increasing them makes the model bigger ofcourse. Hoppah
  2. Quite easy. Just like vehicles, all persons have a texture as well. Just open one use a 'replace color' tool to change the skin.
  3. Topic reopened. I just gave rihis my permission to release the reskinned Chevrolet Capricre. It's not a big deal that people release reskinned vehicles in the same theme (i.e. LAPD, LAFD) as the original mod, but I'd still like to know what's happening around here. So that's why rihis his warnings won't be revoked. I've sent rihis a PM with the following text: As soon rihis has added a download link to the reskin in the first post of this topic, I will add it to the approved mods. Hope this discussion is resolved and won't happen again. Hoppah
  4. You would need to test that for sure. What he basically wants is two events in one: A car accident + a fleeing suspect (man with gun event). I don't think you can make this work, since the events are hardcoded.
  5. Thank you. v1.9 will be released in a similar way, just with a couple of additions.
  6. Yes, if you're really experienced with Photoshop you can make your own textures. However, I suggest you use the map textures from our download database to make a new map and that involves alot of copy/paste work. Zmodeler2 is preferred by most people for a couple of reasons: - It's cheap - It's easy - It's the only program with a .V3O plugin - No need for expensive software for low-polygon models
  7. That post was actually meant to be that way. Stupid idea or not, FDNYRes1cue knew exactly what I meant. I had a reason to respond that way. The new map takes up all time and I don't really care about others things.
  8. You can create the wheel prototype anywhere you want (as long the base folder is 'Prototypes' in your mod). Just make sure the name ends with "_wheel##". Examples to show what I mean: crownvic_wheel.e4p crownvic_wheel1.e4p crownvic_wheel11.e4p The game recognizes the wheels that way. Same thing for doors and superstructures.
  9. From what I know it can make mission scripts with simple objectives. I never used it. It's useless if you want to make a cool cutscenes and more advanced things.
  10. It's this website http://www.emergency-wiki.de/index.php/Kategorie:Scripts And it's not available in English. You're lucky the codes itself are in English and selfexplaining for the biggest part. The hardest part is learning how to use them and that site doesn't teach you that. If you need help with something just post it. Hoppah
  11. Added the bug to the start post.
  12. I like the idea too. Maybe I should wreck MikeyPI's Harley for the LA mod.
  13. You need to create triggers and paths on the map and an extensive script to make the cut scene. Use any LA Mod script with cutscenes as example.
  14. That's probably this bug: Install that patch.
  15. I just uploaded a different way to patch the mod. Compared to the previous hotfix patch it fixes only one extra bug. It's also a test to see how these installers work, because v1.9 will be released in a similar way. Please note that this program should automatically find your EM4 or 911:FR directory. Feedback to this program will be appreciated. Download the patch program here: LA Mod v1.8 patch program What does it fix?: See the first post of this topic. Notes: - All previously released patches have been included in this patch. - Reinstall the mission patch after this hotfix patch if you want to play the original missions. - When playing online, make sure to install the patch if the host has it installed too. - It's advised to install this patch on a clean version of the mod. (excluding the missionpatch and older patches for the mod) Hoppah
  16. Weird hobby. I hope he didn't stole them.
  17. That's the 'Missing child' mission right? Make sure to question some of the walkers in the forest. They give hints. Solution:
  18. The new map IS the next version.
  19. I don't really care about this. I prefer to see people using punctuation and capital letters at least. My English wasn't that good in the beginning and still isn't perfect. There are a lot of younger and non-English people on this forum, so you can't expect everyone to write correct English. Hoppah
  20. MikeyPI already made the terms of agreement, but thank you anyway.
  21. Sky helicopter is useless, because you can never make that work. From now on I will delete all the suggestions, because NONE will be added as long I am still working on the map.
  22. Yes, it's a good idea but I don't know if I can make the river accessible. The whole river is a 3D-object and the sides might be too steep for a fire fighter to go down. I can put a car in the river, but without injured people or any other things that require vehicles/personnel to go down. Or you would have to use helicopters, which can land on the bottom.
  23. He never said HE is going to make it...... It's an idea, just like all your million ideas.
  24. 'Fehler bei der Komponentenübertragung' means 'Error during file transfer'. A Cyclic redundancy check is a procedure to check files during a transfer for errors. This error might happen when the CD is damaged and/or dirty. The CD-player can't read (and copy) the file and it gives that error. Try to clean the CD with a soft tissue.
