  1. There is that little button above the text window where you type the text.
  2. Please use the code tags next time. It's hard to read a script without the tabs. But looking at the picture I didn't even had to look at the script. You have put the aerial for FS2 on the same virtual object as the aerial ladder for FS1. You should NOT change the virtual objects, so change VO_LADDER back to VO_HAZMAT. These are only constants. The only thing you have to change is the path to the prototype of the aerial ladder which has to spawn on the HAZMAT virtual object in FS2.
  3. They will probably be kept in the mod. Option in the installer isn't a good idea because of multiplayer. It increases the chance of getting the 'different files' error when you try to connect to a server.
  4. The emsiren files are the original Emergency 4 sirens, they are replaced by the empty ones to get rid of them, so I was able to use another siren script with new sirens.
  5. Roseville CA mod Roseville MN mod and now the Washington NJ mod? So, we have three different mods from three different states and all three have JUST been started? I've seen a couple of screens in the Roseville CA mod topic and that's it. It seems like you are just starting mods without really understanding how much it actually takes to make a good mod. Maybe you should just TRY to release one of these mods and then come back to the others. Until that time, I will close all future mod topics made by you, because this is making me tired. I already should close the Roseville MN and this topic, because I know 2 out of these 3 mods will most likey end to nothing. I hope you get with I am trying to tell you. I don't want to be rude or something, but I've seen this too many times now. It's also one of the many many reasons why I don't easily share my models. Most people think creating mods is a piece of cake, otherwise you wouldn't start 3 mods within a couple of months. Your 3 topics are the proof I was searching for.   6. Yes, all 3 LAX vehicles, ambulance, crash tender and pd car. Depends on the outcome if I am going to delete them. But it doesn't matter, the submod will be released shortly after release of v1.9 and has the same installer to install the vehicles within a minute again. It will be combinated with the Federal units submod.
  7. Just... Please... ...... READ ..... the poll. I would still release them as a submod, so that would give everyone a choice. It's not even about the possibility to disable them or not by yourself. It's about making the mod as light (by deleting files) as possible. God.....
  8. For your information, COD5 is in the same series as COD 4, it uses the same graphics engine, has similar gameplay features. It is a ripoff COD4 indeed, but not a bad one at all! The reason why many people don't like is the THEME/SETTING. Games which are set in a modern theme are apparently more popular than WW2. Modern Warfare 2 (or COD6) will be about the same as COD4, just with SOME added stuff and a new campaign. The hype around it is so big, that it is most likely to disappoint, just like Assassin's Creed did to 90% of the people who wanted it so bad. You see all the fancy things they added in the COD6 videos, but it wouldn't surprise me if the game is going to be almost exactly the same as COD4, making people to wonder why they just spend $149 dollar on a re-release of COD4 and plastic fake night vission goggles, because you can't expect much for that amount of money.
  9. Poll added Thanks for bringing this up, I actually forgot about them but I NEVER use them, even in the airport missions. I prefer the red vehicles above all. So I voted 'yes'. If they will be removed I can make a submod to make them playable again. Deleting them makes the mod smaller, thus more compact which might result in better performance and loading times.
  10. How, by hacking my pc? And for what? A submod, your personal mod or a whole new mod which you want to release? v1.9 isn't even out yet and the tiller won't be shared before (for very obvious reasons). Maybe you should wait until v1.9 is released. When it is released you can have the script, I am not sure about the model yet.

  12. Nope, this information is related to but not about the mod. MikesPhotos added some links to the LA Mod ("newer Chevy Suburbans like the one in the game"), that's all. This goal of this topic is providing the LA Mod players with background information about the real stuff which might be very interesting to read and to prevent certain questions like the one about USAR divers in the LA Mod topic and prevent blinky light brigade from demanding arrow bars on every car.

  15. I only have the models of the vehicles. Need to do alot to make everything work, including new personnel. I can't tell when the Federal Submod is going to be ready.
