Rule number one: #1. Always make sure you don't talk bullshit and make a fool of yourself. You never tried to add videos to a mod and make them work. You actually know less about modding than heyjoojoo does. When you copy these new videos to any mod, they DO NOT work. You have to replace the original videos in the Data folder. Unless I missed something, this is the only way you can install new videos. Next time I am going to give you another warning, because you're starting to get annoying with your wrong assumptions and 0,0% modding experience. Lang is NOT only text. Take a look in the ".../Emergency 4/Data/Lang/de/" folder and take back what you posted. The original supervisor videos are located in that folder. They are in the Emergency 4 Deluxe version at least. Hoppah

GCFD I think, Generic City Fire Department. The Ford Excursion won't be in the submod. Voodoo_Operator doesn't like the model, so we decided not to add it. The white unmarked van which can be found in the old Federal Units topic won't be added as well.

For three reasons: 1. When I play online it's always with one or more friends who I can talk/scream to using the Xbox 360 headset. 2. Never had really good experiences with online pc gaming. Played Counterstrike Source and Enemy Territory alot and stopped because people started to cheat. I've never seen cheating people on a console since I got it. 3. Less lag on a console (my own experience) Plus, people have equal systems and controllers. Maybe you agree with my points, or not. It's just that I have better experiences playing online on a console than on pc's.

Games I want for my Xbox 360 are Forza Motorsport 3 and COD:MW2 (Because I prefer online gaming on a console above a pc). Assassin's Creed 2 and Mafia 2 are interesting too, but I might get them for my PC instead.

Since you're the mod starter, people usually expect you can do something too. Is there anything you can do by yourself like 3D-Moddeling? If not, please try to learn something and spend some time in learning the basics of modding this game. Also, think twice before you post an email address on a forum. Everyone who has access to the internet is able to see your email address now and can use it to send spam or other unwanted stuff which we -the forum moderators- are not responsible for. That's why we have a PM system on this forum. I suggest you use that instead.

I have Windows Vista on my current (1,5 year old) desktop pc. It runs great, so I do not see a reason to upgrade to Windows 7. Even if it runs twice as fast as Vista. My new laptop has a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it officially comes out, so that's cool.

Wrong, vehicles.xml is not being used at all in Emergency 4/911:FR. 16T did add the file to the game, but it's not being used anymore. Andrew needs to add the correct icons in the Units folder of the new person, and make sure to edit portraits.xml in the Specs folder correctly. Double check the ID of the person.

I'm interested to add it to the version after v1.9, but I want to see a picture of the model first. Good. Not really.

Voodoo_Operator wanted to add a generec fire- and police department to his mod and already made that ambulance. Because there are some files that are shared by all vehicles (freeplaybase.xml for example) I can do that only partly. You can choose which vehicles will be playable, but the installer will install all vehicles and leave the vehicles you don't want disabled. Probably not. That ambulance bigger than any of the LA Mod ambulances and the size of it will cause problems with the available space in the fire station(s). Hoppah
