You got that problem because you have both games installed. There is a patch in .rar file format a few pages back. Use that to install the patch manually.
-
That has to do with the vehicletype not the amount of passengers/transports. All patrol cars are STW or MTW types, the unmarked is SW.
-
That just looks like ****.

Something like this? The base file have the units disabled by their unit.xml files and the extra options installs the correct unit.xml files.

I don't think I can fix that, but you should able to send the medic on the bridge first and then click the patient. The only difference I noticed is that it takes a while for the AI before it starts moving. Once you issued the command it takes a few seconds before they start moving onto the bridge.

And what if you scroll down in that list? And why do you first install v1.8 and then v1.9? As usual:

It's ok, i was just kidding around. I forgot to tell Luisinho that he got permission to release this submod.

Some people drink too much.

That is not true. He lied, you were set up. It's a trap. Hide!

You have Emergency 4 Deluxe? Make sure to select the NORMAL freeplaymap in the game menu instead of the (default chosen) DELUXE freeplaymap.

In case you get the following error while trying to install the patch: Why and when does this error appears when LA Mod v1.9 is already installed? It means you probably moved the whole game folder to another location (an external hard drive for example) after initial installation of 911:FR. The patch program looks for registry keys which keep the initial location of the game (Picture of my registry editor). If the registry keys are there the patch program will then look for the location of the game and it checks if the folder 'Los Angeles Mod v1.9' exists. Once you move the game's folder, the registry keys become invalid and the program can't find the mod anymore. Result: That error. I can't really help it, because that error does not even appear if you don't even have the registry keys. You are not supposed to move software to a different location on a computer. EM4 or 911:FR are not just some portable games. Because I do not want to let people down you can download the patch files in a .rar package now, so you can install the patch yourself manually. Link: * DOWNLOAD * Size: 1,41 mb Please take note that this .rar package contains the EXACT same files as the .exe version of patch 2. How to install: 1. Download and unpack the .rar package. 2. Move the folder to your Mods folder and click 'Yes' when asked to overwrite older files. 3. Done Hoppah Hoppah

Yes, open fp_params_endless.xml located in the Specs folder with WordPad and scroll down to the Climate settings. Simple delete the following line from the 'fair' weather type: <transition state="light rain" weight="1.0"/>

So? Anything else?

You had to mention you already installed the second patch. It's not cool if people don't provide screenshots, because there are many intersections near the construction site. I just can't do much about these problems if I don't even know which intersection and which direction the traffic came from.

Take a look in the bug report topic! I released a second patch days ago. This topic is NOT a bug report topic. You are like the fifth one TODAY who comes with this same bullshit. Please wash the dirt out of your eyes or get one of your parents to read the forum for you. A link to the second patch is posted on the first post of the bug report topic, the official LA Mod topic and even the official downloadpage of the Los Angeles mod. That should be more than enough. It can't be any easier. Apparently, it isn't. And you are not the only one. This forum is even worse than prison sometimes. I am seriously considering SHUTTING DOWN the whole Los Angeles mod forum, so people can take care of their own 'problems' instead.

Is it really too hard for you to take a look at the menu of the game and select the NORMAL map instead of the DELUXE map which is selected by default? The installer clearly mentions it replaces the original (=normal) freeplaymap, so everone is able to play it. This topic is driving me nuts because of posts like this.

That probably means you moved the whole game folder to another location (the external hard drive for example) after initial installation of 911:FR. The patch program looks for registry keys which keep the initial location of the game. If the registry keys are there the patch program will look for the location of the game + the mod. It checks if the folder 'Los Angeles Mod v1.9' exists. Once you move the game's folder, the registry keys become invalid and the program can't find the mod anymore. Result: That error. That's exactly what seems to happen when you try to install the patch. It's not really my fault, because you are not supposed to move software to a different location. EM4 or 911:FR are not just some portable games.

He was referring to new sirens which the mod does not have since v1.6. Yes, there were alternate sirens (the v1.5 sirens indeed) present in v1.8 and some earlier versions. I deleted them to save space. They will, however, return in the Additional Units submod.

Technically, a keyboard and a mouse are controllers too. In case you are referring to a joystick, steering wheel or gamepad; I don't think you can use them. Not all games are compatible with other controllers than a mouse or keyboard.

Depends on the kind of incident and location. As for questions 5, 6 and 7: 5) The Mass Casualty Unit was made up to match the ITW type vehicle. It does not exist in real life. 6) No, the US Army probably has pontoon vehicles which are completely different than the one in the mod. These days, pontoons are rarely used because of air mobility. And for the same reason as my answer to 6: The game needs one to finish certain missions. 7) Very long, because the state governor needs to sign permission before they can respond. It's impossible to say how long that's going to take.

You should still be able to install the patch. Just select the 911:FR directory yourself. You don't need to select the Mods or the Los Angeles Mod folder, just the 911:FR directory.
