I gotta see this in game That's not an easter-egg. Would be good if you can release the translation as a submod.

Thanks for letting me know.

Yeah, because of all the snow in LA? Thanks for the replies. Looks like I was right, both colours will do.

I know, I just don't feel like giving support to people with non-retail versions of Windows 7. In this case the problem was not related to Windows though. I am satisfied with Windows Vista and don't want to use a trial version of Windows 7. I recently bought a new laptop () and I can get Windows 7 for free for it. When I am certain every application runs great on Windows 7 I might get Windows 7 for my desktop pc (which I use for modding) too.

I though that was fixed in patch 2. I guess I have to take another look at it. The train is not supposed to move. It's a static object.

I think a yellow or white one will do. It doesn't really matter, I can always change the texture later.

That desktop icon just does not seem to work with 911:FR and Vista 64 bit.

Promised to do this after release of v1.9. So here's the changed script. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to install: 1. Download & unzip the package from the attachment of this post. 2. Move LAFireStationStart.script to '.../Mods/Los Angeles Mod v1.9/Scripts/Game/Command/' and replace the older file. 3. Done ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hoppah

What colour is that blankets they use to cover the dead bodies in LA? Is it really yellow and does someone has a picture of that?

Adding the jaws of life to the bls fire engine
Hoppah replied to firefightercommando120's topic in Alteration Help
As said before, that is scripted... -
Or wait for the official release of Windows 7 instead of using a beta. My support to Windows 7 users will be 0 before its officially released. I hate beta's or how Microsoft calls theirs, a Release Candidate.

You have to edit the scripts too.

The game recognizes to what station each vehicle belongs by the virtual object it is colliding with. We're talking about the virtual objects "fs_squad01" and "fs_squad02". Example: When the HAZMAT squad collides with the virtual object "fs_squad02" (which belongs to the second station), the personnel will spawn in fire station 2. In your case, the vehicle does not collide with any of the virtual objects, it uses the default spawn location which is fire station 1. You can do two things, either make the virtual object bigger or change the default spawn location. The script you need to change is the "DummyCallCrew" commandscript in LAFireStation.script, but you will get the same problem at fire station 1 if you change the default spawn location to fire station 2. So I suggest you make these virtual objects bigger.

The Dauphin is a revised version of the TEC helicopter model. The model is nothing special, but the texture looks good.

I killed an ATF agent during testing the H&K MP5.

Patch 1 or 2. I did not try to fix the patrol issue yet.

Alright, did some tests today and came to a few conclusions: I finished three EM4 missions and two of the LA Mod missions and nothing changed to the mission list besides the scores. I was still able to play each of the 30 missions. Little annoyance: After playing a mission you can't click the Next (in German: Weiter) button anymore, so you have to go back to the menu. I tried pressing the 'New Campaign' button and mission 1 (Bomb attack threat) started loading. After loading, I restarted the game/mod and went straight to the mission list. Only missions 11 to 30 (all EM4 missions) were listed. Conclusion: When you click the 'New Campaign' button the game does not seem to find the LA Mod missions anymore. Until I have found a fix, don't click the 'New Campaign' button and just select one of the missions from the list.
-
That is already included in the mod, just with all results set to 0%. Do not click the New Campaign button. In your case, reinstall the mod.

I surrender too. Will take a look at the traffic problems at the bridge. Not sure if I can fix them all though. I have no idea why the LA Mod missions are disappearing from the list. Checked it a couple of times and never had the problem. @ CptThade: Did you ever press the New Campaign button or something? Hoppah
