Ambulances - RA (Rescue Ambulance)

HINTS have nothing to do with the fail requirements. You can't have 10 hints, while there are supposed to be 6. That explains your crash.

That problem is caused by the project reality lights submod. I wonder why they added the taxi files anyway. Not a smart move if the prototype files of the taxi haven't even been changed. That's the exact reason why I keep asking people to only release the changed files of a submod. The other problem with the submod is the missing chase command. I made such a beautiful instructional guide and nobody reads it.

Scripting is not the biggest problem. Modelling the ship is the biggest problem. That will take weeks, if not months. I once tried to model the USS Nimitz (the aircraft carrier). After I found out the deck required massive textures I stopped. Hoppah

LAFD Firefighter/paramedic?

Theoratically, each ambulance can carry more than 1 patient when there are no stretchers needed. But you're right though, I don't think two stretchers would fit in ambulance, so the max capacity of the ambulances in the mod won't be changed.

Yes, I think it's an older Ford Explorer.

There is a cage for the dog on the back seat of the Ford Crown Victoria. Dogs are not that big..

Hmmm, I just found the following two photos I am not creating Bomb K9, but that Bomb K9 SUV will also do for normal K9 (public order enforcement dog) I guess. Can someone tell the make and type of that SUV? Looks like a Toyota. I am not sure what the purpose of the white F150 is, Code2High mentions it under K9. Never saw it before. http://www.code2high.com/lapd.htm

I am trying to add a police dog to the Los Angeles mod and need your opinion. What is K9? "A police dog is a dog that is trained specifically to assist police and other law-enforcement personnel in their work. Police dogs are often referred to by the term "K9", which is a homophone of "canine", a word that generally refers to dogs and dog-like animals." Source: Wiki Both LAPD and LASD have K9 units. The difference is in the K9 vehicles. LAPD K9 uses Ford Crown Victorias: LASD K9 uses Chevrolet Tahoes: I'd say LASD, because there are already a ton of Crown Vics in the mod. So please answer the poll and choose your favorite. Hoppah

That's not what I said. Read my post again. http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/p.../1006CopCar.jpg http://www.themotorreport.com.au/wp-conten..._unveil-028.jpg The extra red and blue lights are clearly visible above the headlights in these two pictures. I never said the headlights itself are flashing.

Alt+f4 will also work in your case.
-
Nope, no vehicles will be replaced.
-
/agree with Xplorer4x4 Definately looks like a (stretched) Impala. The lightbar is awfull, but I like the extra lights in the headlights.

Another new vehicle for the submod. A LAPD Chevrolet Impala! Screenshots (from the editor): Chevrolet Impala model by MikeyPI Skin by police189 Modified by Hoppah Note: The model is not the same as the civilian version of the Chevrolet Impala in the mod. This one was made by MikeyPI at the same time Carman made one too by coincidence. Although MikeyPI's version has doors, so I decided to use his one in the submod instead. Hoppah

Hah! I've been in Bamberg twice in my life. Loved the Schlenkerla Rauchbier (=Bambergs specialy beer). Even took a whole crate home once. Hoppah

The lights of the vehicles are still not finished.

I did, sorry. I can't help it that I'm paranoid.

I'd like to add something too: So why did 16T add the editor, a mod installer, an ingame modifications menu to Emergency 3 and 4? Mods do enhance the value of the game (which results in better sellings). I do not earn a single dime from my mod, 16T does, so there is no reason to forbid mods as a game developter/publisher. As soon I start selling the mod I am punishable by law. Interesting article here: http://techregulation.blogspot.com/2008/01...aper-topic.html Laws are difficult, aren't they?
-
I don't have to, because what I made is not commerical. I don't sell my mod, but I do own my work under protection of the law. For more information, read MikesPhotos brilliant post in this topic: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.ph...ost&p=77251 Hoppah

Maybe, but the title of the video is "The new LAX mod for Emergency 4". Looks like a new mod to me. The only thing he had to do was mentioning my nickname or the name of the mod where this mod is based on. Examples could be "Original content by Hoppah" or "Original content taken from the Los Angeles Mod". Even if he did that he still needs permission to release his changes, but that's not the case right now. Best thing would be promoting the mod as a submod for the Los Angeles mod, but that's just not what this looks like. Hoppah

You don't have to copy yourself. You're wrong, you are not punishable by law when you make changes for YOURSELF. There is no point of prosecuting people who made personal changes to a mod without the intention of releasing it. However, releasing material which includes changes of copyright protected material is not allowed. Media like videos and pictures are ok (to me), except when you start pretending the stuff is yours. There is a difference between making and releasing something and that's what you are forgetting. You should've said: "You are allowed to make release mods if and only if the creator allows you to. However almost 99% of the game company allowes you to do so." Hoppah
