  1. There are no major bugs in v1.9 anymore, so I don't think I will make and release a v1.9.4 patch. There will always be problems with the new freeplay map as it is so big and complicated. Releasing patches just to fix problems on the new freeplay map is useless.
  2. In v2.0, dead bodies covered by a tarp can only be transported by the coroners. Yes it makes the game a little bit harder, but also more fun. The game + LA Mod is already too easy anyway.
  3. Simple English: These are fire-arms. Fire-arms fire bullets. Bullets can be stopped. By a wall for example. But that does not happen in the LA Mod. It cannot be fixed. For now. Normal English: The scripts of these weapons are based on a target and range system. When the target is in range it will be hurt/damaged, no matter if there is an object between the target and the person who fired the weapon. There is no bullet trajectory system for these fire-arms. The pistol and sharpshooters rifle - which are official Emergency 4 equipment - do not have the bug, because they're using a different system which is hardcoded and cannot be copied to the new weapons.
  4. McGee's nickname is 'probie'. Are you sure you watch the same thing as me? That file is locked and person models do not contain animations. The animations of the persons are based on a bone system which cannot be changed, so you cannot make new person animations. Seems like you don't know much about the modding system in Emergency 4 after all.
  5. I'm not sure if the processor is single core, but a 2 Ghz singlecore processor is not that good. One hour to load the mod is still ridiculous though, so there have to be other factors as well. I can't look into your computer, but background software, like virusscanners can slow it down. As well as virusses. In case you also have (loading) problems with other software I suggest you reinstall your whole pc. Or you can try to remove some software and run a few pc cleaners like Ccleaner. Defragging your pc might help too.
  6. That's what I'm thinking too. I often read complaints about the longer loading times of the mod. Addings vehicles will increase the loading time. You can't have more vehicles AND shorter loading times...
  7. The problem is known, but I have not even been able to reproduce the problem myself. Maybe it's related to 911:First Responders, slower internet connections or slower computers. I have played and tested the Los Angeles Mod many times online and never experienced the problem, thus I am not able to fix it (if it's possible to fix it anyway).
  8. You must have done something after the installation of the Additional Units Submod. Try to reinstall it.
  9. Probie? : (NCIS ) And Free shirts available now: OT: I have made a text for a tutorial. It's not simple, it's pretty advanced and it's not just telling what the animation should look like. You need to make the animation code itself manually. Zmodeler 2 and Microsoft Excel skills are REQUIRED. You also need to understand how a .v3o file looks like in WordPad (the D, P and A lines). I am working on a small tool for Microsoft Excel to make it a little bit easier, but I can't tell if or when I am going to release it.

  14. Are you trying to edit the model or the texture?
  15. There is no exact reason why I choose LA. Like 4 or 5 years ago, I wanted to build an ambulance and found a picture of a LAFD Ambulance and decided to make that one. That's how the Los Angeles Mod for Emergency 3 was started. Yes, I prefer American fire engine's above the Dutch fire trucks, but that doesn't mean I don't like the Dutch fire department or police. I just wanted to make a mod about vehicles which I don't see almost every day.
  16. It is possible, you just need to convert freeplay to one big missionscript and I don't have time for that before you can realize that idea.
  17. Do you know which vehicle immediatly explodes? Or maybe all of them or only one? Wish it was. Useful pic for this forum at least.
  18. The pontoon vehicle is there, so it's not a bug. The vehicle might not be available in freeplay, because it has no use in freeplay...
  19. Not possible, interface changes are only possible in mission scripts. So unless someone builds me a missionscript which simulates ALL freeplay events it is not going to happen.
  20. I have found some objects hidden under the ground and when these catch fire you will get that bug.
