It's either a corrupt government, civil war, lack of food/water, illiteracy and the spreading of deseases (HIV) that's causing the poverty in these countries. We all know that. You just like to blame the rest of the world. Especially the civil wars and the corrupt governments prevent these countries to develop. 'Totally made by the West' my ass. Africa has abundant natural resources, but not as many oil as the Middle East has.

Terrorists were able to blow themselves up in downtown London, that means they had the resources and the opportunities to complete terrorist attacks. What if they used something on a larger scale? (airplanes, chemical, biological or even nuclear weapons). Terrorism goes far beyond the actual attacks itselves also. I'm sure you were frightened that day (unless you was like 8 back then).

I would've been in the military under different circumstances. Thanks man. Possible. There were no WMD's in Iraq in 2003, without the invasion they MIGHT have got them by now. Remember that Saddam Hussein was a dictator and already used WMD's on a 'smaller' scale before (Iraq-Iran war and the Kurdish people). And don't forget Iran, they seem to have the resources to build them now.

Unlike the Los Angeles Mod, I believe each vehicle in the Winterberg mod is unique. Making a script to return EACH vehicle back to base is relatively easy for that. In case of the Los Angeles Mod, you can have like 10 Fire Engine's of the same type on the map and all of them will try to park on the same spot at fire station 1 then. I don't have explain what is most likely to happen then.

lol They started about a year ago and people already start complaining that it's taking so long. It seems like their first release is already going to contain more than the latest LA Mod version. It took me 3 years to get this far. Where is the patience? Do you really expect a mod like that (the complexity) can be released that fast? Show some respect or come back when you have grown up.

You're right about the crash. When I try to edit the bridge points in the editor, it crashes. I probably can't fix that.

User Account Control (UAC) does not scan for virusses, it just annoys the user with warnings when you open certain file formats (like exe files) or when are about to make important changes to the settings of your system.

I can't believe people are still discussing about the legality of the invasion in Iraq in 2003. What's the point? You're talking about it as if the invasion still needs to happen. Well, it did happen, so that dissusion is over. It's funny that many NATO countries do actually support the war as many of them did deploy troops in Iraq after the invasion. I do not support that war either, but on the other hand it's actually good there is at least one country willing to do what is necessary against terrorism. It's just impossible to find out the effectiveness of the war on terrorism, but we all know the US never got attacked on its own soil by terrorists anymore. Nobody can tell what would've happened if the invasions in Afghanistan and Iraq never happened, so saying the war on terror is useless is just hypocrisy. The war in Afghanistan is legal, because the US had its rights to defend itself after the attacks on 9/11. It's a bit of a simple thought, but totally understandable.

HP, their logo is even printed on the dvds. After I bought my laptop (last September) I got a brochure with information about Window 7. That I could order and get it as soon as it was released. I had to send a scanned copy of my receipt to some website. Unfortunately, it took a while before I got the upgrade kit. I think it took almost 2 months before they verified that I am allowed to get Windows 7. I only had to pay €25 for the (shipping) costs. After I paid I got the kit two days later from Germany. I got 2 dvd's: 1 upgrade dvd (if I don't want to lose files) and 1 dvd with Windows 7 itself. I did a clean install to get rid of the HP software on my computer though. I also got a manual in 20 languages, including English!!! I just installed it on my laptop and looks pretty good.

Just like the police barricade and the flares, the traffic cones have no real use besides blocking traffic. You can basically use ANY object to block the traffic. If it was me I'd delete these objects, but I don't want to get beaten to death by LA Mod players.

You should have done something wrong, but especially for you I uploaded the map file in a .rar package. 1. Download 2. Extract the package. 3. Move freeplay.e4m to the following location ...\Emergency 4\Mods\Los Angeles Mod v1.9\Maps\ 4. Overwrite the older file. 5. Done! Note: The file in rar package is the exact same file that gets installed with patch 3, so its useless to download this one if you already installed patch 3 for the Los Angeles Mod successfully before.
