So during the installation process you get that error? The installer replaces the old map with the new one. Maybe -for some reason- your computer prevents you from doing that (replacing files). In case you have installed 911: First Responders into the Program Files folder, UAC can make it harder to make changes to that folder. You can also try to delete your temporary internet files, cookies & cache and then try to redownload the mod. The mod comes in a .zip file, it's possible something went wrong during extracting that file. Hoppah

I'm not sure what page you actually mean. What I DO know is that they protected the Program Files folder(s) even better in Windows 7. Me -as administrator- couldn't even change files in the Program Files folder(s). That's why I install my games on different partitions on my computer. You need to change the access permissions of Program Files to gain full access again.

No, you need to buy Emergency 4 Deluxe which comes with 3 extra missions and a Deluxe map with new events. It's not possible to add these events to the normal versions (EM4 & 911:FR). The new boat does not require personnel to prevent it from moving. I have considered it, but people will find it consfusing. It's up to you to make it realistic or not.

It can transport 3 passengers and it besides the boat it also carries axes, chainsaws, fire extinguishers, flares and traffic cones.

Update: A new version of the Additional Units Submod will be released after Los Angeles Mod v2.0 has been released. The CheckVictim command is necessary for the 'Missing Person' events in the Deluxe version of Emergency 4, where you need to to check the found body. However, the new ability for v2.0 to cover dead bodies with a tarp has been added to that command, so it will play a bigger role in v2.0.

It's definately an improvement. Simple programs like Internet Explorer seem to load much faster. I'm not sure if Windows 7 also performs better in heavier tasks like gaming compared to Vista. It will take a while to get used to the new taskbar, although it seems to work pretty good. The only thing I dislike is the Windows Media Player 12. They removed the taskbar player, but the video player looks much better.

Just kidding, but I don't think anything happened.

I have an AMD processor too and I have never experienced any problems.

Are you sure you didn't take these ladder parts from the Los Angeles Mod?

It's not that hard to make mounted police, I just wonder what they could do. I am talking about the commands they could get. Besides a command to stop people (like the Halt command) there isn't anything else I can think of. Hoppah

Increased the waiting time of the engine with 3 seconds, so it doesn't end up driving inside the trailer of the tiller anymore.

The only changes are the 'automatic vehicle emptying' switch I have added.

Update: There won't any other additions to v2.0 besides the new features which were already posted (click!), but I can happily announce that v2.0 will be released before the end of the year! I am still busy with testing the new additions and making a Deluxe version of the new freeplaymap, but that shouldn't take that long. I also need a few trustworthy people who are willing to host a mirror of the Los Angeles Mod v2.0 when it's going to be released. PM me of you're interesed and let me know how you are going to host the mod.

I installed Windows 7 Professional 64bit NL on my desktop pc which I also use for modding and Emergency 4 + LA Mod work great on it.

Unfortunately, there are no submods for the Los Angeles mod for Emergency 3. The Los Angeles mod for Emergency 3 isn't supported anymore either. I suggest you should get Emergency 4 or 911:First Responders somewhere.
