No, it doesn't work for Emergency 4 (of course). Emergency 4 uses different files than Emergency 3.

Thanks for reporting bug. You can change that in the editor (select vehicle - edit - edit traits) and change 'Resistance Shot' to 9000 or something. Hoppah

I've uploaded the fixed version! What is fixed and changed: Crash when sending Secret Service SUV fixed MP5 stays in air when using 'Remove MP5' command fixed When FBI Agent changes to FBI HRT Unit it disappears fixed 'Remove Stretcher' command doesn't work fixed LAPD SUv doesn't have 'Return to Police Station' command fixed CHP Crown Vic lights cannot be turned off fixed When deploying command post lights of vehicle goes on fixed FBI command bus transport only 4 ppls fixed (changed to 8) The Army humvee's flood light command doesn't do anything. fixed (command removed) Problems with directional lightbar fixed MP5 doesn't work inside buildings fixed Some police units can't enter a car fixed Mission 4: Gates do not work fixed Mission 19: Rear lightbar of the 2 lax ambulances doesn't work fixed Other things: Some sounds from Emergency 4 added New lights for the CHP Chevrolet Camaro Two soundtracks from 24 added to mission 19* *Because 24 is one of my favorite series, I have added 2 soundtracks from 24 to the last mission of v2.4. So, you hear music from 24 in that mission. It's quite cool, I think. How to reconize the fixed version : Open the readme. It should say: 'Version: 2.4 (fixed)' And the zip file is called: Los_Angeles_Mod_v2-4f_By_Hoppah.zip 'f' means 'fixed' How to install the fixed version : Download the whole mod again. Delete the older version(s) of the LA mod. Install the fixed version. Link: Los Angeles Mod Note: Los Angeles Mod v2.4 is indeed the last version for Emergency 3. The LA mod for Em4 will be focused on freeplay and multiplayer. I will create some cool missions, but freeplay (and even multiplayer) will be more important. The first version of the LA mod will contain new vehicles and buildings for freeplay. In the following versions I will add scripts and missions. BTW. I love my fire truck. It's the best model (next to the Hummer H2) I've created so far.

I've tested the fixed bugs and I think I've fixed everything now. Did I forgot something? About the gates. I will explain for the last time how you open them. After this I will remove all posts with the word 'gate'. The following maps and missions contain the gate(s) where I am talking about: Freeplay [NEW] Hostage Situation at Los Angeles Intl. Airport! [NEW] Drugs gang! [NEW] Hostage situation in Boeing 747 airplane! All gates can be opened using a switch. In most of the maps the switch is next to the gate. (In the 'Drugs gang' and 'Hostage Situation at Los Angeles Intl. Airport!' mission you have to find the switch.). To open the gates: Select a Fire Chief, Supervisor, Police Officer or Engineer. Then click on the switch (you see an icon to reconize the switch). The unit will walk (or run) to the switch. When it's at the switch the gates will open (like he pressed a button). I can't help you. Patch 3 is required to use everything. Try to install the patch again or wait for the Emergency 4 version of the LA mod. News: I am still fixing bugs. I am not aggresive. You mean new maps? I have made 19 NEW missions. They all have an unique script. There are some missions with a new map (ground) too. Do you mean missions like that?

Good idea, but you will still see a red dot on the minimap.

19 Please don't use abusive language. @ Light: Scroll down in the mission list. You can find my missions after the 20 original missions. I've checked the gate commands again (drug gang mission, boeing 747 mission and freeplay) and there is no bug. The officer walks to the switch (you need to find the switchs in the drug gang mission) and THEN the gates will open. In v2.3 (or earlier) the gates opened immediatly when you clicked on the switch. I have added some Emergency 4 sounds to the mod. You hear a new sound when you attach a hose and some other sounds are improved. I am still fixing some bugs. I have to make sure there are no bugs left.

1. I am working on the LA mod since June 2005. I started with some reskins. 2. v2.4 is the last version for Em3. I will convert my vehicles from the LA mod to Em4.

Yes, it has 2 lights on both sides, the other ambulances doesn't have those. I forgot to remove the Floodlight command on the Humvee. The lighting vehicles has two light commands: Warninglights on and Floodlight on. It shows a req circle (I don't see squares on the map) on the minimap because it is a "Fire Dept. RW" type vehicles. Only the "Fire Dept. RW" type vehicles can have a floodlight which moves up when you turn it on.

Its not a bug, it just works different than 2.3 did. In 2.3 you could simply click on a police man and click the gate and it would open right away. In 2.4 you need to let the police man run to the gate and open it. Yes and no In v2.3 and earlier you could indeed select a fireman and click on the switch to open the gates without walking to the switch first. I have changed the script of that command. The unit walks to the switch and then the gates will open.

Improved the Hummer H2 Red Cross physics.
