You can change 'MedicalLifeGain' of persons in the editor, but you can't change paramedics having different healing speeds. -
You can't create new events, because the events in Em4 are hard-coded. You can: - Change position of the events on the freeplay map. Use the editor and load the map. - Change values of the events like chances. I suggest you take a look in the "Emergency 4/Data/Specs/" folder then. You need fp_params_endless.xml or fp_params_challenge.xml. Hoppah

Yes, I am very busy with school (and work) at the moment. But I haven't forget the mod. I try to work on my mod some hours every week. I have updated my website a bit (added new units to "Units") and I am working on my second mission. More information soon.

You can scroll down the list of vehicles. There are two buttons without arrows (16T forgot to add them). You can use those. Great video emergency4freak. :1046275747_biggthumpup: Maybe you should have used other music.

In real life, the bus is even longer. But I decided to make it shorter so it would better match the game size. It's almost twice as long as the original EM4 busses.

The events are hardcoded, what means you can't create a new event, but you can copy existing events (like copying and placing accidents somewhere else on the map). Just copy the objects on the map (using the editor) and check the name of the objects. I am not sure how this works, because I have never modified events in EM3 and EM4. About the files in your mod. When you load a mod the EM4 already loaded all normal game files (positioned in the 'Data' folder), then it loads all the files in your mod, 'overwriting' the normal gamefiles when files with similar names are in your mod. This means, you only have to add files to your mod which you want to change. Just make sure the folders are correct (example: fp_params_endless_mp.xml has to be located in the 'Specs' folder in your mod) and change those files carefully. 1 mistake can make it corrupt. I can add that to the 'Call for backup' commands and it will work like this: Enable the 'Standby mode'. (select vehicle -> click icon) As soon you move the vehicle to another position, 'Standby mode' will be disabled automaticly. But if the vehicle is in standby mode, you can use the 'Call for backup' command. Call for backup will check the following things in this order: 1. Parked vehicles at fire station or police station 2. Patrolling vehicles (patrol cars & ambulances) 3. Vehicles in 'standby mode'. Maybe I should switch 1 and 2? I just checked the script and it says this: Med1.SetAutoHealDistance(0.1f); Med2.SetAutoHealDistance(0.1f); The distance seems to be wrong, but I don't know the default distance. Hoppah

Suggestions are no problem, of course. I'm very happy people like the mod and some ideas are very good. But I can't add everything to my mod. Creating a second fire station is A LOT of work and won't be added in the NEXT version. @ others: Please stop the discussion about being polite or not. Using the Search function for a certain question doesn't work, so it isn't firemedic28's fault. It's too much work to check 57 pages. That's why I'm going to expand the LA MOD FAQ. I'm also going to create a new (sticked) topic about the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) soon. People have to check the FAQ first before they're going to post a suggestion/question again. This will prevent the same questions and discussion (and irritations) like this. Problem(s) solved.

Most .v3o files are locked (to improve performance) and you can unlock them with the EM4 editor. Then you should be able to import them into Zmodeler2.

Yes, but that's too difficult. The fire station is made for certain vehicles. All scripts and vehicles are connected with each other. So, too much things have to be changed.

I think Emergency 3 has a "bad reputation" in the US, because of the unrealistic and 'European' vehicles. It was also released in the US after Emergency 4 was released in Europe.

Yes, my mod has a similar problem and Stan and me found out what causes the crash.
