No, I want to improve all MX7000's with MikeyPI's one. You need to use a recording program to record all the voices. For the video's, you can replace the audio track with your voice. You can use Windows Movie Maker for that. But it's alot of work nevertheless.

1. Besides using the scripts I can't convert missions to EM4. The president mission was a HUGE amount of work to add all those people. But the idea is nice, since I already have the scripts. :) 2. lord_bonev, do you have ANY sense of how much work that might be? Woltep already said you can copy the ground textures and scripts from EM3. THAT'S ALL! Do you want to copy the 100's of objects from EM3 to EM4 and make new prototype files for EACH model?? Place them on the map too. Then add the triggers, paths, streets, virtual objects, spawning points, waiting points and events. Don't forget to test. Kthxbye 3. The new lightsbar are probably for 1.7. That current lightbar from MikeyPI has too many polygons in my opinion, so I need a better one. 4. Steady burns don't have a pattern, because they don't have a flash frequency or offset.

There are supervisor voices (missionbriefings and hints) and video's (like the freeplay events)! You can find the video's in this folder: ...\Emergency 4\Data\Lang\[lang]\Supervisor\ And the audio files in this folder ...\Emergency 4\Data\Lang\[lang]\Audio\FX\voices\Hints and ...\Emergency 4\Data\Lang\[lang]\Audio\FX\voices\Mission [lang] can be 'en', 'de' or 'fr' depending on your game language. The folders might be different too, but this how it looks like in Emergency 4 Deluxe. If you want to translate the whole game, you need to make 100's of audio recordings (and merge them with a video).

Announcement I hope to release v1.6 with the following changes within a month: * Thanks to MikeyPI and Mikesphotos.I still need to add some steady burns, but v1.6 is going to be in the final testing procedures next week. If we (me and the test team) won't run into big problems the mod will be released asap. Hoppah Edit: I'll choose the people who join the test team. Begging for being a tester will result in a warning.

Too much work. You didn't really explain how to actually use this in scripts. For example this: you need to use brackets or a constant (const char...) to make that work ingame. For example: Mission::PlayHint("Test 1234");

Oh yes, there are certainly more people who are willing to money, but I can't ask money for my mod. It's forbidden to use games (Emergency 4 in this case) to earn money. Even if it was legal to do that, 99% of the people would just download the mod from others. The only thing I can do is that people can donate money if they want, but I can't and won't force people to do that. Besides the money thing I just don't have the time to build a huge mod like that. There might be ways to make an installer so people can choose to install what mod parts or cities (LA, NY, LV etc...). That's better than putting everything in 1 huge mod, but like I said. That's too time consuming and it would be almost a full-time job for 1 year to build that.

Models are made of polygons/vertices. The order of these vertices is important to make the alpha layer work correctly. If the glass parts (with alphalayer to make them semi-transparant) are ordered 1 tot 100 you won't see the rotators, even if you use an alpha layer. If the glass polygons are the last vertices in order the game will give the first vertices (the rotators) a 'higher importance', so they will be visible through the glass. I've attached a picture where you can see the ordernumber of one of the vertices of the glass. You can see it's one the last verts in order (nr. 325 of 363)

I didn't want to offend or critisize him, but everyone can make screenshots like that. Drop some objects on a map and you're done. Too easy. Be creative ingame. Make up a (news)story or something.

Yeah. Those 3 scripts are free to use. They weren't made by me. And again. Only the scripts, not the sirens. You also got permission to use the script icons.

Great work man. Looks cool. Might be a nice idea to replace all/most lightbars in the LA Mod in future versions. What do other people think?
