You abviously have to change the code to "Los Angekes v1.6" then.
-
Did I say that? :1046275873_shakehead: Alot of things are possible in theory, but that doesn't mean I am going to make it. It's a waste of time to me. I don't even have sirens which aren't edited (audio file with wail or yelp only). The ones I had aren't used in LA.
-
That would require an extensive script change, but yes it's possible in theory.
-
No, they weren't. These pictures even show the car with a Dutch license plate again. 'Politie' means police in Dutch. 'But the service center ended up playing a cruel joke instead.' It was a joke.
-
I am not going to add that car anyway. v1.7 will have one new vehicle, the LASD Van.
-
It was never a problem! The command caused crashes and that had to do with units trying to exit their cars. That was until v1.4. So the units don't exit their vehicles anymore when you use that command since v1.5 I can't fix save problems in freeplay.
-
1) That already was in 1.5 and not a bug. 2) Did you save freeplay or missions?
-
There is only this. It's German, but the codes are in English, so it should be understandable. http://emergency4spektrum.de/index.php/Kategorie:Scripts You can find 'GetSpeed' under GameObject. Note: That website IS NOT a tutorial.

While holding ALT or CTRL (can't remember )

Thanks for your offer.

Done, you also got an email about this. Ask Stan about the IPB thingy, he's the webmaster.

The display name is the same as your member name. If I change your member name, your login name changes too. Is that what you want?

Yep, it took me 3 weeks to animate the Blackhawk rotors. After I found out how to animate, it took me at least 20 hours to find out how the rotor animations work and to animate them. If you look at the rotor model files of the Blackhawk or Jayhawk you'll know what I mean: 102 frames for 3 animations. The whole file has about 1.3 million symbols. The animation part has more than 38.000 lines of vertices moving into a certain direction. These lines have been made with Excel, but you need to manually add each frame into a certain order. Because my mod has two UH-60's (the Blackhawk and Jayhawk) it was worth the time, but I haven't planned to animate another rotor this way. btw, say hi to our new moderator, Mikesphotos.

Modelling the helicopter: about 6 hours Making a texture and UV-mapping the model: another 5 hours Animating the rotors: more than 20 hours including testing. You just did 6 of the 31 (6+5+20) hours. I can also make 4 simple, but nice missions within 31 hours.

Thanks francis. I am glad to hear more people put their time in learning to mod (my mod).

I agree with everything Mikesphotos just posted. I know, it should've been my words. I would have written a similar post. Probably much shorter and more agressively, but with the same context. I like the idea of having an EMS captain. I personally think it should be able to call an Ambulance, rescue helicopter, mass casualty unit and a coroners van. I am going to change the blue grille lights on the unmarked to blue/red instead of blue only, because that's what the LAPD uses. I will see if can add the evacuation command to the Jayhawk again. All 'patrol commands" related posts: The patrol commands use 3 'looped' paths, which can be followed in 2 directions. That means there are 6 choices when a car starts a patrol. I can add more paths ofcourse, but these problems remain. There are a few choke points on maps (the bridges) and that's something I can't change easily. Besides that, nobody would like it if a car goes into a street and turns around because it's the end of the map. A new police helicopter would be cool. But it's hard to model a helicopter and it's even MUCH and MUCH harder to animate new rotors. Wait until you see my animation tutorial and you'll understand what I mean. Hoppah

Thanks.

Why not?
-
Nope, you're wrong. :1046275873_shakehead: Ask Mikesphotos about the LAPD Slicktops and where they are used for in real life. But let me quote a conversation with him instead: Now, it's up to others to decide who is more reliable. Someone from Quebec or someone from Los Angeles! I am done with this crap. People whining, people complaining, people being stupid, people thinking they know better.

No

Why did you make a NEW TOPIC for your question? Anways, I've merged your post with this topic. Everything is explained here. It's not hard, just take your time.
-
Because freeplay doesn't use an active script.

1. Video made in The Netherlands (The Hague) during some kind of car show. 2. That car is (probably) not being used in real life, so it's fake. 3. My answer is no.
