  1. Had that twice after sleeping. Don't know why, but I didn't die. I just ran, kept using medkids and those injections against contamination till it got very dark.
  2. I am playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. using two mods now; STALKER Weather Overhauled 2.2 and Oblivion Lost 2.1.1 The game is fun and thrilling sometimes. Love the night/day cyclus and the way you can collect items.

  8. Why would you need 8 firemen on a single engine now? You don't HAVE TO to use the gated wye or 8 connections to a single engine. It's an extra tool and can be used to make longer hoses and to save space in tight area's or roads. Fire engine's are big and you don't need two engine's to have 8 hoses anymore. In other words, send a second engine for extra crew and keep it on a distance because the other (first) engine has enough connections to deal with fires now.
  9. Yes, but I disabled it on purpose. I don't think it's realistic to divide the power on 4 hoses (or even more) from one original intake. Still need to ask Mikesphotos though. You can attach 8 hoses to each fire engine now and 2 to each hydrant. To keep at least SOME of the original gameplay. There was no 'drop stretcher' command and the paramedics with stretcher couldn't heal people. Original gameplay = Doctor (FF/PM) for healing, Paramedics (FF/PM's) with stretcher for transporting people.
  10. Another news post! Made a fully working gated wye for the mod. What is a gated wye?: A wye is an appliance used to divide a single incoming hose line into two or more outgoing hose lines. Screenshot: And a video!: Video made by me, uploaded by Stan. Something else: I've worked out the BLS and ALS system in freeplay. There will some big differences in both fire stations in v1.7. First, the big differences between ALS and BLS are the heal (ALS) and stabilize (BLS) commands for the fire fighters in the LA MOD. The changes are mostly about the default staffing of vehicles: The red ALS Ambulance (+ LAX and Van ambulances) have 1 FF/PM and 1 FF/PM with stretcher as default crew. The red/white BLS Ambulance has just 1 FF/EMT with stretcher. Engine 1 has 2 FF/EMT's and 2 FF/PM's (ALS capabilities). Engine 2 has 4 FF/EMT's. You can only park ALS ambulances in fire station 1. And you can only park the BLS ambulance in fire station 2. Because fire station 2 needs an ALS resource as well, you can only park engine 1 at fire station 2. It's still possible to park both fire engine's in fire station 1, but each engine has its own bay now (E1 in bay 4, E2 in bay 5). There are more changes; The 'call vehicle' commands have been changed. The police officers will still call the closest ambulance, but the EMS Captain and Battalion Chief can choose between calling an ALS ambulance (from station 1) or a BLS ambulance (from station 2). Same thing with the engine. Engine 1 can come from both stations (depends on the closest station), engine 2 only from station 1. The 'Call Aerial Ladder' command has been renamed to 'Call light force'. When you use that command the aerial ladder will respond with a 2-car, that means fire engine 2 (if available at station) will respond too. However, if you don't like that change you can hold CTRL while using the command and only the Aerial Ladder will come. Notes: ALS = Advanced Life Support BLS = Basic Life Support Hoppah

    Ofcourse it doesn't work. I've seen the Xbox 360 controller made for Windows. The controller looks the same, but I think the big differences are the drivers and software what comes with the PC controller. It's this one: http://www.velocityreviews.com/reviews/XBo...C_Controller/1/ Prices (in the Netherlands) range from € 40 (USB wired) to € 55 (wireless). The € 40 is totally worth your money if you like playing games with a controller. Especially race and flight games work good if you don't want to have a steering wheel or some kind of joystick.
  12. The idea isn't that bad, but the EMS system has been changed for v1.7 and it doesn't really fit in. When v1.7 has been released think about your idea again. There is already something similar in v1.7 now. BTW, changing your fractions (lik 4/5) to percentages is easier to read and understand. 4/5 is the same as 80%.
  13. There are too many suggestions and people don't read the first post (in the suggestions thread). How many times do we have a tiller truck suggested now? 20 to 30 times? What about the 'Add this, this and this vehicle please' suggestions? 90% of the suggestion have ONLY to do with a cool appearance, like the huge mobile hospital, the LAFD Hummer or another Dodge Charger. The first post clearly states that people have to try to add a motiviation to their suggestions. The LAFD Hummer is not being used anymore, the mod already has two Dodge Chargers, the mobile hospital is too big to manouvre through a map in this game. There is even a limit on the maximum number of transports a vehicle can have. The best suggestion was one from Mikesphotos and that was the new EMS system. I got all the details, pictures and info (including a big excel sheet) I needed and I made it. He is is someone who knows where he talks about. People suggesting I should add a fire engine from England (yes there was one) don't.
  14. Fine If I wanted to make that realistic, it would be already changed. But it's not. It makes the game a bit easier, but mostly, more pleasant to play. I already see people 'reporting possible bugs' that the firefighters don't come out of the building, because they can't wait 20 seconds. Emergency 4 is a fast game, increasing these times would be annoying as hell. Putting crew in the vehicles by yourself each time you start takes too much time.
  15. It's a game. Staffing the vehicles at start make things much easier. I don't care of its realistic or not.
  16. There will be a chapter about the fire station too. All vehicles + default crew for alarm will explained in that chapter.
  17. Not correct, the Stabilize command checks the patient for its health and sets 'DrainLife' to zero. If the patient is below a certain health level, you need a paramedic and then transport, otherwise you can transport it immediatly.
  18. 6012 KB! That's almost 6 MB's lol. Did you include the whole prototypes folder or something? How many prototype files have you changed? 50 at most maybe? That's not even 1 MB lol. Suggestion: Find out which files you have changed and put these in the package only.
  19. That thread is NOT about a possible release date. :1046275873_shakehead: I made it because I wanted to put all news about v1.7 together. I even got PM's from people who asked me IF there will be a v1.7, lol.
