  1. But really we're all guessing without a little bit more information!
  2. As above, selecting various unit types that don't have the same commands causes some to be unavailable. Is the issue you're referring to the fact that 3 of the command icons don't seem to be present? Have you reinstalled the mod? Just to clarify, know you're aware of it, you haven't played the normal game or another mod before the issues? This issue still happens if you load the game, then load the mod straightaway?
  3. Have you tried playing with the graphics settings, and seeing if any of them make a difference?
  4. What files are you trying to unzip? I can't quite work out what it is you're having the problem with. If you clarify, we may be able to help you a little better. Also, as a side note, please avoid double posting. I merged your posts on this occasion, in future please use the edit button that is in the bottom right corner of the post.
  5. If I remember correctly, this issue could be caused by the mouse being moved when the mod and/or game is loading. Might not be the problem here, but you never know!
  6. It is something you can do yourself. Have a look around the forum for how to edit the fp_params file, and you can pick and choose the events that will occur.
  7. At what point does it crash? After loading freeplay? Do you get the problem with all mods, or only certain ones? Can you upload your logfile please.
  8. Don't completely get what you mean... What do you mean when you say it closes down? Are you referring to when you actually load the mod, or when you load freeplay? If you are referring to the game freezing when select a mod to load, this is perfectly normal and is just the game loading the mod. The loading time varies depending on the mod and your computer specs.
  9. Didn't you already have a topic about that issue? Try moving the file to the desktop, then editing it and moving it back to the right place. You're definitely editing the right file?
  10. There is a tutorial explaining how to edit the file yourself somewhere on here. I'd use that and edit the file yourself, that way you know the only changes made are the ones you've done.
  11. I reckon your best bet would simply be to reinstall the game. Something to remember for the future... when modding / editing files it's usually a good idea to have a back up copy of the edited files just in case something does mess up.
  12. There's still some in the download centre, isn't there? As far as I can remember, the problem was more that no one had copies of the older files to re-upload, and many of the users involved in those kinds of projects haven't been active for years. Not sure if many people still play EM3 anyway!
  13. Simply changing the config file shouldn't cause those kind of changes. Are you sure you haven't changed anything else? Your best bet would be to re-install the game.
  14. Absolutely no need to be rude there, TheAxeMan is simply trying to help you. I'd suggest that you be very careful of posting unnecessary sarcastic comments.
  15. Dude, the topic is 5 years old. You must have gone through pages and pages of topics, at some point you should have realised the topics were very old! You know what else gets annoying? The fact you've been told about your attitude in the past, a few times now and it still hasn't improved.
  16. When you've got to the point of releasing some of your content, let one of us know and we'll move the topic to the Development Resources section. That is, assuming you're planning on releasing your content to the community.
  17. Once you're ready to release some of your stuff, drop one of us a message and we'll move the topic to the Development Resources section. Nice to see you're actually taking the time to learn skills yourself!
  18. The current version available for download is V1.2. Mintcake posted back in May saying that he was working on a new version, and that is still the case, he's just taken a little break over the summer.
  19. Welcome to the forum. This is (mainly) an English speaking forum, please stick to English for your posts, or at least provide a translation with your posts.
  20. Which file did you edit? There are versions of the fp_params file for standard, deluxe and challenge. The other common thing is that the file doesn't save properly, are you sure your changes saved?
  21. There was an update a few months back. As far as I'm aware, Mintcake is still working on this, and I'm sure he'll update the topic when he wants to. Remember this will be in his spare time!
  22. Yes, or fp_params_endless_d for deluxe (if you're using it), or _challenge for the challenge freeplay mode.
  23. What are you trying to upload? If you click the save all information box, it should save the information in a .txt file, which shouldn't have any issues with uploading.
  24. Try the em4.cfg edit I suggested above, if you know your resolution. Alternatively upload the DxDiag and I can tell you what values to put.
  25. Can you also post your DxDiag please. If you know your screen resolution, try editing your EM4.cfg file and changing <var name="r_xres" value="1920" /> <var name="r_yres" value="1080" /> to whatever your screen res is. You could also try updating your graphics drivers.
