Just post what you think are the correct credits, they can always be corrected. At least you'd be attempting to post the correct credits, and not just claiming everything as your own.

You can't load one mod, then load another one without restarting the game. If you want to switch mods, you have to close the game and then load your chosen mod otherwise it doesn't function properly.

There's a good tutorial on here somewhere, I'd suggest having a look at that. What do you mean? The icons under your name? That's just related to how many posts you have, although it doesn't mean anything anyway. A member with 100 useful posts contributing to the forum is going to be far more appreciated on here than a member with 1000 useless posts. There's no point whatsoever posting for the sake of it.

Actually that's true, to be able to import/export you'd need the full version of Zmodeler. My bad! Blender is completely free, and there is a free .v3o import/export script. That might be the way to go if you want to learn modelling?

Depends what part of it you're working on. Take a look at the tutorials around the site. They all suggest programs to use for the various stages. You're going to need a program for modelling, such as Zmodeler or Blender (the latter being free). Whereas skinning is going to require a paint kinda program, Paint.NET and gimp are two that are commonly used and both free.

There was a topic on the last page form less than a week ago. As has been said in the post above, dead topics are ones that haven't been posted in for many months or even years. This isn't dead, or in fact anywhere near!

OK, firstly, the bit to the left with firefighter, battalion chief etc. is not a username or anything, but rather a forum 'rank' so multiple people have each level. It's to do with how many posts an account has. So saying "you wanted Battalion Chief to answer" is just a tiny bit vague. You know what you should have used if you want a specific person to answer... the private message function. I think what it does is pretty self explanatory. That way you wouldn't get anyone else even attempting to do this horrible thing that is trying to help you. You know, I think you can use that to ask specific questions of specific people... rather than getting annoyed at other people replying on a public forum! Secondly, apparently you don't really know what a forum is... anyone is free to reply to your question. I wasn't commenting on 'how you ask your questions', simply clarifying if you had got it working or not. It would have been a complete waste of time writing a post explaining something you'd already fixed... You'll find that the majority of the time people on here are simply trying to be helpful when questions get asked, so there is absolutely no need to be rude like you were. I don't care one bit if you don't think it was for me to answer or comment, you can't do anything at all about who replies to your posts. Don't like it, tough. I, on the other hand, can. You see the blue bar underneath my name on the left hand side? The bit that says moderator... Means I'm part of the staff team on here. It's bad enough having your kind of attitude replying to normal members, we'd still end up getting involved. Instead you've decided to try and pick a fight with me... within 48 hours of being on here. Getting on the wrong side of us tends to result in warning points and the like. Needless to say, I will now be watching you and your attitude. If it continues, your time on here will be very short lived. We don't appreciate anyone who makes this kind of first impression at all, and such users don't tend to last long.

Are you talking about the program from the download section that can edit freeplay parameters etc? I don't really have much to suggest in terms of troubleshooting that, but if you tell us what you want to edit in the first place, we can assist in manually editing the correct files.

Don't bother with Windows 8, Windows 10 is significantly better. Also, installing Windows 10 does not wipe your PC at all. Everything was exactly where it was prior to installation when I installed it.

I've upgraded on both my devices. No problems so far.
