    You're not likely to find many people that can help you at the moment. Most of the people that can model, skin etc are already working on mods, so won't have time to join another mod. You would be better off making a start to the mod yourself, and then you have some progress, more people might be willing to help you.

    I don't completely understand what you're asking... Do you want to know keyboard shortcuts for the EM4 editor? Or how it works? or something else?

    GTA 4 models normally have REALLY high poly counts, and would make EM4 lag a lot. The models are usually too detailed for EM4 to cope with.The lag would probably make the game unplayable. So as far as I know, it's not possible to put GTA 4 models in EM4. Having said that, I haven't tried it. I'm not 100% sure whether or not it's possible, although I'm sure someone on the forums will have more knowledge of it.

    There is a reskinning tutorial here. Obviously the the file names etc. will be different but you can still follow the tutorial.

    Are you planning on releasing a submod? If you aren't planning on releasing anything, you don't need to get permission from anyone, providing it is ONLY for your own use. You don't need to get permission to use Hoppah's models as long as you credit him, and don't claim the model is yours. Read this topic for more info. You just need to make sure the models you use are actually Hoppah's and not someone else's, as not all the models in the LA Mod or AUS are Hoppah's.

    Code 1 - Non Emergency, No lights or siren. Code 2 - Lights and siren used for heavy traffic. Code 3 - Emergency Response. Lights and siren used. See here for more information.

    Go to Open the program files for the game, open the "mods" folder and find the LA Mod folder, then open the "specs" folder. (C:\Program Files (x86)\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4 Deluxe\Mods\Los Angeles Mod v2.1) Open "fp_params_endless.xml" with a text editor (e.g. notepad). For each event you will see this line underneath the event name <Enabled value = "1" /> To disable the event, change the "1" to "0" then save the file.

    You need to change the name of the extension. When the folder is open, click "organize" in the top left corner, then click "folder and search options". When the options menu appears, click "view" from the options at the top, and in the advanced settings box, make sure the "hide extensions for known file types" box is unchecked. Now when you rename a file, you should be able to change the file type as well, you should get a warning pop up saying the file might become unstable. I hope this makes sense, I think this is the right way to do it on Vista (i'm using windows 7 so i'm not 100% sure).

    In the UK, we don't have ALS/BLS ambulances, but yes, paramedics will be on ALS ambuances and EMTs on BLS. No problem.

    EMS (Emergency Medical Services) refers to any emergency service that provides medical care. EMT stands for Emergency Medical Technician, and EMTs are less trained than paramedics so aren't allowed to do as much. For example, a paramedic can provide more drugs than an EMT can, a paramedic can intubate someone, or give drugs intravenously, whereas an EMT couldn't. Basically a paramedic is an advanced EMT, they have more training and provide more advanced medical care.

    Right click the file and click properties. Click the 'security' tab and click the 'edit' box, select 'users' in the top box and then tick the 'allow' box for 'full control'. Alternatively, save the file to the desktop, then copy and paste it into the program files folder.

    It's not playing because the screen resolution for the game is wrong. Go to the program files for the game and open the 'em4.cfg' file that is in there using notepad. Find <var name="r_xres" value="1152" /> <var name="r_yres" value="864" /> And change the x value to 1366 and the y value to 768. It should work after this.
