Play the campaign, and your units will get the upgrades. You don't need to buy them from anywhere.
-
Please post a screenshot of what your problem is. Do you play the original game or another mod before loading the mod?
-
met police999, nobody is going to help you if you're not willing to do anything yourself. If you can't model, or skin etc then learn. If you make a start on the mod, people might be more willing to help you. Read this and this before deciding you want to make a mod.

I'm banning you because you got my name wrong
-
I'm banning you because I have more posts than both of you added together, and posts in the off topic section don't count.
-
You can download the mod from the download centre here.
-
It's possible, but you will need modding experience. I don't really think it would be worth the time it would take to do. You will be better off waiting for the Manhattan Mod, or the next version of the NYC mod.

In your unit.xml file, add </unit> underneath <defaultcount value="2" /> each time. Upload the files (attach them to your post) and I will edit them for you if you want.
-
Try changing the personnel bit in both sections to this <personnel> <unit id="FIREFIGHTER_8"> <defaultcount value="4" /> </unit> <unit id="T-SHIRT" /> <defaultcount value="2" /> </unit> </personnel> I have added </unit> after each unit id.
-
Try reinstalling the mod. If you already have, post those unit.xml files so we can have a look for any problems. What mod are you playing? Have you edited the files?
-
Yes, the missing person event is on the deluxe version of the game only. You won't get it on 911 First Responders.
-
Use Paint.NET to reskin instead. It can open .dds files.
-
You will need Zmodeler and there is a tutorial here.
-
I haven't seen that problem before. Your best bet would probably be to send the files to someone and let them have a look at the mod's files.

Looking for experienced modeller!

If someone has some free time, i'm sure they will help you. You might just have to wait a while for someone to actually get some spare time. -
Looking for experienced modeller!
randomperson139 replied to ThePoliceGuy's topic in Modding Related Support
Be a bit more patient. The people who can model and still do it are mostly already working on mods. You will have to be patient and wait for someone to get some free time when they aren't working on mods. What models do you need doing? There might already be some around somewhere. -
Sometimes in places like London, it is quicker for an ambulance to get to a hospital than it is for a helicopter, so the HEMS Doctor will go on the ambulance, if required. And yes, some Air Ambulances in the UK have Fly Cars. The HEMS team in London have, I think, a pair of Skoda Octavia VRS Cars. , the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, where I live, has a Mercedes ML 4x4 based where the helicopter is based. The HEMS cars in London can sometimes be quicker than using a helicopter, but outside London, the cars are normally used in bad weather when the helicopter(s) can't fly.

Los Angeles Mod bugs, issues and problems
randomperson139 replied to Hoppah's topic in Los Angeles Mod
Did you play the original game or another mod before loading the LA mod? You need to make sure you load the game, then load the LA Mod mod straight away without playing the original game or any other mods. -
How to purchase 911 First Responders LA Mode? Please Help!
randomperson139 replied to tank12war's topic in Los Angeles Mod
You need to buy 911 First Responders (or Emergency 4, it's the same game) from Amazon or from Atari or similar. Then you need to download and install the LA Mod from the download centre of this forum. The LA Mod download is here. You don't have to pay anything for the LA Mod but you will have to pay for 911 First Responders. -
won't work on new computer
randomperson139 replied to ltmauler6's topic in Technical Related Support
Open the config file (em4.cfg) and find the line that says <var name="r_xres" value="1280" /> <var name="r_yres" value="1024" /> Change the value for X to 1024 and the value for Y to 768. Save and close the Config file. The game should now work. You might have to save the file to your desktop and then copy and paste the file back to its original location. -

There already is a reskinning tutorial. -
It's working now. Thanks Stan.
-
The tutorials section doesn't really work properly, if you go to Tutorials ---> English ---> Emergency 4 nothing is listed. See the screenshot attached. And, Welcome back Stan.

New files added to the download section have to be approved by an admin, so you won't be able to see or download them until they get approved. -
I assume you edited some of the LA Mod scripts? You could upload your edited script(s) so we can check that's not causing the problem.
