  1. Yep, infotext.xml and portraits.xml need to be edited in the Lang folder. These files can be edited in notepad (any .xml file can), not the editor.
  2. If there were any updates that they wanted to share, they would have posted them. Although, sniped222 hasn't been on here in 2 years.... So unless someone else know any different, I wouldn't expect to see any updates anytime soon.
  3. *molotov So who'd have the big ass minigun, or is that too ridiculous for your liking? Seriously though, what is the point of this topic...? It just seems to keep going...
  4. I presume la_flag_fabric is the actual flag part... You need to have another .dds (texture) file for the Canadian flag, that needs to have a different name. Change the name of the Canadian flag texture to canadian_flag_fabric.dds and then change la_flag_fabric.dds in the .v3o file to the new file name.
  5. The files for the flag you copied from one mod folder to the other, one of them is a .v3o file. Open that in notepad and change the texture name.
  6. You're thinking of RRVs in the UK, which are usually Paramedic level or higher. This First Responder is more like a Fire Service Co Responder in the UK, who are pretty much just First Aid trained and wouldn't transport patients. The training of this First Responder is nowhere near Paramedic level, just advanced First Aid.
  7. When you signed up to the forum, you will have agreed, and should have read, the rules of the forum (ToS). One of which is not to ask for release dates. I would quote it from the ToS, but that page appears to be "In Progress" at the moment. Anyway, the mod is looking fantastic. This is certainly one I am looking forward to.
  8. Your work looks great so far. I've done something similar myself, just not with quite as many units! Out of interest, does that boat and trailer work in game? Where can the trailer with the boat be downloaded from, if you don't mind me asking?
  9. The last post was 2 and a half years ago! The topic seems pretty dead to me Your question would have been answered had you read the post above yours. The guy who started the topic said he has no skills and wanted to start the mod. I don't think the mod actually progressed, let alone released a beta.
  10. There is a tutorial here. It is from a few years ago now, but I assume the process will still work now.
  11. Looks great so far, good luck with the rest of it! I like the idea, it's something a bit different to most mods. What happens when the ambulance arrives? Is it automated, or does the player control the ambulance as well? Are any other vehicles controllable, or are "Peter" and his car the only things under the players control?
  12. Have you edited anything since it was working? Can you post your logfile?
  13. Find the event and change <Enabled value = "1" /> to <Enabled value = "0" />
  14. Goog, did you make the lightbar, or is it available for download somewhere?
  15. It is actually SCO19 The proper name is Specialist Crime and Operations Specialist Firearms Command, hence SCO19. It became SCO when the Specialist Crime Directorate merged with Central Operations, forming the Specialist Crime and Operations Branch. EDIT: Didn't see the post above... So I've ended up saying the exact same thing .
  16. I doubt you will find anyone who will just make a model for you, and you haven't said what it's for, or anything like that. Is it going to be for a new mod, do you just want it for personal use? You could just reskin the Large Rescue Ambulance from the LA Mod, I think that looks a lot like the ambulance you want making.
  17. It's part of the HAZMAT section. It's used for detection, identification and monitoring of hazardous substances. More info can be seen here, http://www.hantsfire.gov.uk/civilprotectiondim
  18. There aren't supposed to be truck in the stations at the start. You call the trucks from off the map and send them to the stations.
  19. Just some units I've added to the London Mod (my local units). Humberside Police Roads Policing Landrover Discovery 4. From left to right, Marine Section, Roads Policing, Tactical Firearms Unit Yorkshire Ambulance Service Officer Unmarked BMW Ambulance Officer Car, and Audi A6 Doctor Car. Yorkshire Ambulance Landrover Discovery 4 RRV, and Officer Vehicle. And in the first pic, you might be able to see the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
  20. What's that lightbar on your Crown Vic? Is it one of Cops' models?
  21. I'm not 100% sure, but I think there is a script similar to that in the RTS Mod.
  22. Double posting is againt the forum rules, which you should've read when you registered. Use the edit button instead. Yes, you can still play the original scenarios when you installed a mod. Just open the game and play. To play a mod, you first have to load it from the mods menu, if you don't load any mod, then you will be playing the standard game. Just out of interest, how did you get the game so quickly, and where from? Half an hour ago, you didn't have the game...?
  23. Yes, it should be fp_params_endless.xml for the standard version of the game, or fp_params_endless_d.xml for deluxe freeplay in the deluxe version of the game.
  24. You got a warning and the second topic got deleted because it is against the forum rules to create multiple topics about the same thing. You then created another topic asking the same question as your first two, so the new topic got locked and you got another warning because you were told it was against the rules. This topic will probably get you another warning as well. It's really not difficult, if someone can answer then they will. Creating loads of topics isn't going to make anyone answer any quicker.
