  2. Great work so far! Have you made the map yourself? Have you done Police/Ambulance vehicles?
  3. Seeing as the FBI SUV, and Secret Service SUV are the same vehicle, the best thing to do is edit the unit.xml file for the FBI SUV and add the Secret Service agents. In the LA Mod folder, go to Units and then police and open the folder called 260fbisuv. Open the unit.xml in that folder using notepad. Ignore the campaign bits at the top and scroll down to the freeplay bit. You will see this <personnel> <unit id="FBI_AGENT"> <defaultcount value="2" /> </unit> <unit id="FBI_AGENT_TAC" /> </personnel>You need to add the SS Agent to this, so change it to <personnel> <unit id="FBI_AGENT"> <defaultcount value="2" /> </unit> <unit id="FBI_AGENT_TAC" /> <unit id="SS_AGENT" /> </personnel>Now the SS Agent will be able to be in the FBI SUV when called from off the map. This is only to add the SS Agent to the SUV. Without checking, I don't know if they need extra commands adding in the editor.

  8. I'm sure I downloaded an .e4mod file and installed that. In their download database, go into the "Winterberg-Mod" bit, and download the "WEM 9 Taikapalo" file. In that file, is an .e4mod file if you're issues with the updater.

  10. Don't be advertising your mod here, you've got your own topic for that. And please watch the attitude. By all means, offer constructive advice, but don't be rude about it. Just because you've already got a Czech mod, just doesn't mean another one can't be made. The OP was just showing something he had been working on. There is nothing wrong with him doing this! The rest of you, just report it next time. There's no need to be getting involved. Now back to topic please.

  12. I think the question is more is it really worth the time and effort on a part of the game that most people will pay virtually no attention to. I mean, when a mod gets released, you don't really go and inspect all the civil cars, do you? As hoppah said, it doesn't make too much difference if the civil cars are a few years out.   13. There are files for the skidmarks, but in individual mod folders. They are in the games data folder. Open the program files for the game, instead of opening the mods folder, open the data folder. Then go to models -> objects -> debris and in that folder there are some files for the skidmarks.

  15. You would expect help from bystanders, but this is something that doesn't happen in the UK unfortunately. It's exactly the same when it comes to EMS calls. The majority of the time in the UK, people will do nothing if someone where to say collapse in front of them. They would just carry on walking, or just stand there!As to UK police being armed, it is something that has been debated many times in the past, and will be debated again and again. I think it always comes down to a question of is it necessary, when incidents involving firearms are fortunately rare. Yes, there have been deaths which may or may not have been avoided, but things like that do not happen very often at all. And then there's the argument that arming police officers might lead to more criminals being armed and therefore more gun crime/ violent crimes. Although, more and more police officers are being routinely issued tasers. I know they aren't much when it comes to an armed suspect, but it's a start! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

  22. Obviously in areas like London, ARVs are always patrolling and are quick getting to incidents. The same can be said of other larger cities, in the nearest to me, I regularly see ARVs patrolling in both marked and unmarked units. Although, in Cumbria, the whole thing is done a bit differently. As well as having Firearms Officers, there are a number of their Roads Policing Officers operate a dual role, in that they are also Firearms Officers. So their RPU cars double as ARVs as and when needed, so there are a larger number available therefore quicker response times and more coverage.
